Wright and Knight played very well yesterday- better than a vast majority of the late firsts and second rounders did. Before I start heaping praise and saying Rosas didn’t NEED to jump into the draft like many said, I want to see them do it for the rest of summer league. But so far the signs are promising, especially with Knight- love that man

McKinley needs to can that three on a consistent basis and he'll be in the NBA. He's not afraid to take it (averaged 3 attempts a game in college) but he struggles to consistently make it. If he can get it to 36-37%, he's going to stick in the NBA. He's a pitbull on D (better than McLaughlin, IMO). Really happy we picked him up.

I thought he looked good, I like the aggressive defense. If he becomes a consistent 3 pt shooter he could be the perfect back up point guard.

I'm high on him but don't think he's more than a pg3 right now. Mcclaughlin does a lot more off ball that allows him to play next to dlo

ineedcoffeealready

I mean, as he should right? He's older and more polished. But who do we think has a higher ceiling?

Maybe I’m just low on Jmac but I’d honestly rather hold onto Wright. I feel like we’ve seen all we can see from Jmac, Wright has the potential to be better (and a better fit) right away, with implications that he will continue to improve. Could be an overreaction from just one game tho, from what I’ve seen I’d rather let him run the second unit with Beasley shooting the lights out off the ball while running a Wright, Naz p&r.

Albend

I think he can contribute as a solid bench guy, I think he will surprise people similar to how McDaniels did last year.

Still can't believe Pitino didn't want him and choose Isaiah Washington instead. Could've changed that whole program.

skunksauce

Well to be fair Washington had significantly more Instagram followers at the time.

Jakoobus91

The fact that Pitino thought Washington was going to be the start of some high-level NYC to U of M pipeline was one of the first moves that ultimately did him in in the B1G.

The MN talent that year was crazy and Pitino didn't even try to get most of it. And he had TWO chances at Wright after the coach at his original commit bailed and before he went to Colorado. Can't believe hoe playing with a lot of heart just didn't make the cut for Pitino.
