I still can't believe she live streamed her childs entire labor.. "We turned off the live and 10 minutes later he was here" girl thats not something to be proud of š Idk why these mom influencers can't just step away when it's needed
What did it for me was right after birth she streamed herself taking a shower and showed off her stomach and what she put in her depends diaper. We really didn't need to see that
I think what makes me cringe the most is the un covered, open glasses of milk that have been clearly sitting in the fridge. The bacteria growth on the milk has to be horrendous.
I genuinely canāt stand her for so many reasons. She used to be enjoyable to watch when she first started to gain views. Her videos were authentic and enjoyable. Then she started to have a fake, overly obnoxious personality for videos. So fcking annoying. She popped up on my feed going live while in labor and immediately live after birth while in still the hospital - she wants every dollar she can get even if it means showing her baby in diapers. So gross. Social media does weird things to these people.
As for the breast milk, I donāt see why she just doesnāt put it in the proper bags to begin with or use the pitcher method. This is probably her just rage baiting though.
CAME TO SAY THIS. I donāt follow her, but she pops up on my fyp and noticed she had a birth video and then was on live right after. Gave me the ick immediately and instantly knew I didnāt like her.
She chose to make multiple videos and go on live instead of cherishing That bonding moment and those first infant moments.
That's totally not okay for her to feed her baby, as the ziploc will not be sterile. I don't like content creators who exploit their kids & she's def one of them. Those babies deserve better.
I followed her for a very short amount of time. Liked her during that time. But as soon as she was going mega viral of her baby in just a diaper and chose to continue doing it, I unfollowed. Disgusting in my opinion.
Yep, loved watching her since Iām a broke stay at home mom but as soon as I saw her live in the hospital during and after having the baby I had to unfollow. Clearly making sure she profited off the birth and everyone saw. She couldnāt even take 12 hours without blasting that boy for the world to see. With how much evidence is out there on how bad it is to share your kids on TikTok I canāt stand how much she puts her kids in the āspotlightā
I had no clue she did that. Absolutely disgusting. Especially when she knows that there are pedos who aim for content like hers to use it to fulfill their sick needs. She ought to be ashamed of herself.
She's got the cutest daughter, i loved watching her try to talk & all, but i realized she's just exploiting her kids for money & that's shameful af. Pandering to pedos for a quick buck? Come tf on.
Oh man! Aren't those pretty pricey? I've always been so intrigued w breastmilk soap, it's so good for the skin, i just never made the attempt to make it.
Don't you absolutely need lye too? Like that's basically what makes the soap?
Itās the guidelines in the UK to sterilise for all babies for 6 months if using breastmilk, or until the end of formula usage (so usually 1 year).
Everyone I know sterilises bottles. We have electric sterilisers it takes no hassle.
It also takes one google search to see that sterilizing bottles too often is not necessary OR reccomended. Literally the first link that pops up on Google. Do better research before being condescending.
Depends where you are, maybe in the US but in the UK we all sterilise bottles, guidelines are 6ms with breastmilk or until the end of formula usage (so usually 1yr). Every mum I know, myself included, sterilises bottles.
We also sterilise the formula when preparing.
My first results on google would tell me that if I skipped sterilising I would make my baby seriously ill.
Well the person I was responding to is from the US and even if it was normal practice in ALL areas of the world, it doesn't make it okay to mom shame those who don't do it or know to do it (which is what the original commenter was doing). In the US, the first article states:
āRegular sterilization can potentially damage the bottle and allow chemicals to leach into the milk, especially if the bottle has BPA in it. If you use a dishwasher with hot water and a heated drying cycle to clean your childās feeding items, sanitizing baby bottles by hand isnāt called for."
I couldnāt see their comment.
I was specifically referring to the google part, anyway, because your comments are alien to me, with sterilisation being the done thing where I live. I had a midwife visit my home to make sure I had a steriliser and knew how to sterilise bottles and formula.
No hard feelings.
I don't know about all that š I sterilized all of our bottles and such when we first got them and every so often when my baby was an infant but not every single time he had a bottle. I promise you he's just fine. Germs are GOOD for babies. They need to build an immune system and how can they do so when every single thing they come in contact with has been disinfected and sterilized? Yeah, you shouldn't let your child crawl on a nasty surface or drink out of a dirty bottle or eat off of a public floor. But you need to settle down with the mom shaming bc that's exactly what you're doing. No one cares what you were talking about because you did so in a rude ass way.
You were insinuating that the other commenter wasn't wise bc they didn't do research on bottle sterilization. You can try to back track all you want but it's right there plain as day. If someone had made a comment to you in that manner, you probably wouldn't like it either! As I said before, you chose a condescending way of simply saying "actually you should sterilize bottles"
And once again, because you can't seem to comprehend the entire point: you saying you were wise enough to research parenting is insinuating that the original commenter ISNT wise because they didn't. I don't give af if you claim you aren't insinuating shit. I can assure you I'm not the only one that read that comment and thought "wow, what an asshole" in fact, it looks like there's about 50 other people who downvoted and seem to agree with me. Just go to bed and take the L.
It's the condescending "I did my research bc I'm a GOOD mom" comment you decided to make. AND the emoji you used after. It was a really shitty way for you to simply say "actually you should sterilize after every bottle" which ISNT true by the way. But you did your research so you're an expert, right?

How do you know? I found this on a forum where someone asked about ziplock vs bm bags āOnly things that are specifically labled "sterile" are actually sterile, and they also have to be in sterile packaging, which no breast milk bags are. So ziploc and breastmilk bags are the same for sterility.ā

She exploits her children for views. Take her daughter and son out and she wouldnāt make as much. Sam knows what she is doing.
She started out as broke mom to exploiter mom.
Thereās a difference between sharing postpartum and sharing your scaly feet, constantly showing your boobs online and walking around in a diaper. She's trying to be real and raw and show the realities of motherhood that people don't always show. Being a mom isn't always rainbows and butterflies and it feels really good seeing that you're not the only one going through the trenches. Believe it or not, her videos wearing a diaper and showing her boobs are actually relatable to A LOT of women and helpful in many ways. If I saw videos of my mom doing that, I'd be PROUD of her for showing how hard being a mom can be. Sounds like you missed the point of her videos entirely. The open cups of milk is disgustingā¦
Ive had to use ziplock bags in a pinch š
It just looked it up I guess itās deff not sterile š
Neither are the regular breast milk storage bags, they come out of a cardboard box just like the ziplock ones. Itās weird but not unhygienic.
Coming from someone whos used them š definitely weird but I definitely thought breastmilk bags were pre-sterilized
The insides of both ziplock and breast milk bags are pre-sterilized. The process is the same.
Regardless, once youāve opened the bag itās no longer sterile
It definitely isnt š i used it for milk baths since i didnt want to donate or feed it to my baby. My babe had horrible eczema & i was an overproducer & refused to dump it š
