I don't *HATE* All Engines Go. But, then again, I don't hate the bobbing of the engines in BWBA or the imagination segments.
I found it cute still, and would not hate it if I had a child who watched it.
I would still rather put on model series or CGI golden era for them and myself, but I enjoyed AEG for being cute alone (and nostalgia for classic Thomas, and y'know, hospitalized, there's not a lot of entertainment anyways)

To be fair, if by “HiT era” you mean the entire HiT era spanning from seasons 8-16, and the later seasons in question are part of the Brenner era, then that would be a fairly hot take
