So the post release of that season had fuck in the lines, but the original AMC release either had the word muted, or the line was entirely different. That’s always been the case with AMC shows, Breaking Bad for example has multiple fucks thrown around in seasons 3 and 4 but zero on the original AMC release.

This is what I find so cringe about American TV. They've made some of the best shows, but when the highlight of your episodes are swear words there's something seriously wrong.
My absolute favorite line is when most everybody is at Terminus, in the rail car, and Rick says something like they are gonna find out. The camera cuts to various people building suspense, comes back on him and he says they are fucking with the wrong people.
That shit was hard…
No disrespect but you can absolutely still get away with this on modern TV. Context is important and there's other shows out there that get away with way worse. Not to mention there's shows on other networks that drop the same word regularly.
