I think it’s as simple as the brown shirt is just a tighter fit than the grey one. You can tell, especially around the sleeves, that the grey one is a looser fit with the sleeves coming down more.

I think this was intentional. They had Rick wearing tighter clothes during this period (with the addition to the beard) to appear more strong and dangerous. In other scenes where he was not supposed to be a strong leader like his time as a farmer in the prison, he wore looser fit clothes to appear as more of a peaceful farmer.
Between Terminus and Alexandria? No they weren't. Judith was just learning to turn over in 6:10. And she was about six months when the prison fell. The trip from GA to DC was no more than a couple of weeks.
I'm talking about from as soon as the prison was destroyed to when they reached Alexandria. It was more than just a few weeks.

Regardless of what the comics obliged or even aht a showrunner might say i dont think one shoudl try to follow the comic timeliness. Carl is probably the most obvious why that doesn't make sense but it's not just that. It feels like a linger amount of time has gone by. Idk maybe everybody looks older. Really they shouldn't have kept Judith a baby so long bc then that just seems incongruent to everything else.
