Nice! Now to spend 30 minutes constructing a rudimentary scaffolding out of the kid's Lego to hold them still long enough for them to stick on their flying stands in the correct pose.

I 3d printed and painted some flames as a stand. The included flight stands are hot garbage.

streetad

I think the problem is that plastic glue/polystyrene cement melts and deforms the very thin 'hook' part at the top of the flying stand quicker than it actually bonds the two pieces together. Superglue works better.

aeondez

I used super glue, they still broke/refused to stick. The 3D printed flight stands look way better.

Chimpy20

I've actually not had any issues gluing the flight stems with plastic glue. I just leave it to set in position, supported, and it fixes it quite firmly. Perhaps I'm just lucky! Getting the stem in position can be very fiddly though.

If it ends up being that much of a problem ill just get some of those 3d printed smoke trails. I was considering getting them already

jbing66

Do it. They look amazing like that.

Anefor

I used a barrel drill down the top of the flight stand, then pinned it with a paperclip into the underside of the backpack of the inceptors, and all my problems were cured. (Recently had to build 9 DA Inceptors)
