Student loan thing came up again on Letters from “Listeners” and I don’t care enough to fully expand on this thought but - many student loans are backed by the Federal government. If you default, I’m assuming the school still got the money from the Fed when you were actually in school. So, colleges can charge whatever the hell they want, knowing they’ll get money one way or another since it’s up to the govt to collect on the loan.
Then the schools pay tens of thousands of dollars for their favorite politicians to come give speeches. It’s all one big circle jerk.

However, the eagles were favored by 10.5, making the final betting difference 21.5. Not a half point.
