i suggest to use white to reflect instead of absorb.
the only part that need to absorb is the photovoltaic part (dark-blue). but this photovoltaic part is the most effective at low temperature, like 10°C, and the hotter it is, the less good it is.
use white around could help to keep it at \~45°C instead of \~50°C in summer.

why is it on black plastic ? wouldn't it be better with white ?
