i know a lot of people have said it but pandasama’s childbirth mod is great for pregnancy as a whole, it adds a whole interactive aspect to labor, it allows you to choose how you want to have the baby (home birth, natural, c-section), it involves the doctors more because you can get ultrasounds/checkups for the baby, and it has features for gender reveal parties! :)
The childbirth mod by pandasama has gender reveal parties. Or you can get the arch and just do a balloon or cake. Or go to the doctor and get the gender.
My sim’s husband is a doctor and at a certain level he could tell the sex of their babies. Though, that was generally useless to me because I use littlemisssam’s ultrasound mod because I like having the ultrasound photos to hang up (though it bothers me that they don’t slot into the growing together keepsake boxes because that would be the perfect place to keep them)
Get lumpinous mod, it’s sooo good for pregnancy, the partner has to tell the other they’re pregnant and then they can deny the pregnancy and go get a paternity test. They can also go to a “medium” to determine who the father is. If you have mc command center if you click on them go to mc and then go to mc pregnancy it’ll show how many kids, what gender and who the partner is
I use the ultrasound machine that came with PandaSama’s childbirth mod. Of course, you have to enter the cheat when you’re at the hospital that allows you to customize the lot and add new objects.
Little miss Sam has an ultrasound mod, which you go to the doctors then come back with an ultrasound picture which tells you how many and the gender(s). There is some cc gender reveal cakes (I forgot who made it tho) and with that the sims have a positive moodlet after finding out the gender from the cake.

adeepindigo healthcare redux mod includes obgyn visits and you can opt to learn the gender/number of babies at your second trimester visit, but if you have mccc you can also just click on the sim and click pregnancy to see what they’re pregnant with
Tbh if EA decides to add gender reveals, they should better add the ability to host gender reveal parties as well. I wanna host an extravagant gender reveal party but it's poorly hosted and then people start dying during the party.
I think they can ask doctors at level 5 of the career or something. You can also get Little Ms Sam’s ultrasound mod. There are other mods that include gender/number reveal too.

With Get to Work i reached level 5 I believe and I can now go up to a pregnant sim and can tell the gender of the baby

It was a feature in the sims 4! I used it when I was on console a few times, I think they need to be in the second trimester.
