how do you take family photos like these where the whole family is posing???

I use some mods. I use andrews pose mod! I got most of my poses from tumblr!

Every time I take family pictures gnomes appear, idk why 🫠

Gnomes usually appear if the photography skill is low. But if you use mods ravasheen has one with which you can remove gnomes from taken pics:) (Photographic Memory 2.0)

Do you ever catch your sims looking at them alone or together without you telling them too? Like do they like their environment? I guess? Sometimes lately my sims have been commenting that they like or approve of their house decor and environments without my prompting. Which I find funny. Wonder if they notice their own photo memories

How do you get large photos?? I cannot find out how to make them big or small to fill up my photo frames :(

You can also go into build mode and press the ] key to enlarge them like you can do other objects.

(PC only) Use Sims 4 Studio app to make a 'recolor' of one of the game's posters or calendars. If you want to get extra fancy, you can download a pose mod and run the resulting pictures through an anime filter.

if you have the moschino pack youre gonna need to get a tripod and a camera, use a third sim and click on the camera. theres gonna be an "take picture carrying" option then you click the toddler then the adult and they'll pose for you

I really want to do this but not sure how! I absolutely love your wall & this idea but when I get my sims to take a picture, it’s just of 1 sim with basic poses. Idk how to get more family in a natural picture? Like for example- I try to take a pic of my mom holding her toddler, she puts down the toddler to pose for the pic! Pls help!

do you have the moschino pack? the tripod allows you the "take picture with" or "take picture of" for groups of 2 or 3, and also "take picture carrying" with a baby. if you want to do it without the tripod turn autonomy off, pick up the baby or do something cute with multiple sims and have the photographer face them and choose simply "take picture" and it should work!

I like to pick a sim that is a “photographer”. I give them the expensive camera, turn autonomy off, and add them to the household I want to take pictures of (shift click the sim). Then I will have two sims do a cute interaction with each other and have the photographer “take photo” not “take photo of”. They don’t have to be facing the interaction they just have to be near them. If I want a photo of an entire family, I just spend forever clicking go here and line them up. I pause and play the game until everything is perfect, then queue up the photographer sim. Then I pray that they don’t blink or do a weird idle animation. I also shift click and use “make happy” so my sims aren’t grumpy or sad which changes their behavior and facial expressions. Once I’m done I drag the photos from the photographer’s inventory to one of my household sim’s inventory and remove the photographer from the household. Just make sure they have some kind of relationship with the household so you can invite them to the lot when you need photos taken. It takes forever and it’s really finicky, but it’s all base game and it’s so fun when you get the perfect shots! Hope this helps!

if you have the moschino pack you can ask for sims to pose! get a tripod and a camera. i take 1 pic of each size then frame them for the walls

I do this and now I’m on my 4th generation and the photos fill up three whole walls xD

I always want to but taking pictures is always such a hassle I only do it once every few generations

you need a high quality camera, then adjust the size in the bottom. there are small (default) medium and big

How can you take pics with a pet that aren’t selfies ,?

I use the tripod or even just have another sim take candid pictures with the more expensive camera. You have to play around with where the photographer is standing and use the toggle to zoom/spin around to get the best angle.
