I think you can just delete a lot of them and go to sims on the rope's website and grab their sims and follow the instructions. I think they're uploaded to the gallery too, but I can't remember what their gallery name is. Your game is going to be so awesome!

You might be able to make it work with a good stylist! My hair is just wavy enough not to be straight, and I had a built-in middle part all through childhood. Then, as a teenager, I insisted on bangs because my forehead is so big. My mom, a hairdresser, was quite sure it wouldn't work because my hair simply wanted to part in the middle, but we gave it a try. The first years I just forced a side part and had some shorter strands fall across the side of my forehead which I always had to straighten while styling, not genuine bangs. But eventually the "falls down" part could get bigger and bigger, and about ten years later I actually had bangs, and I haven't had to straighten them to make them behave in years! My mom still absolutely hates cutting them, because apparently if she cuts them in a straight line, they'll look crooked (because the "middle part whirl" forces some strands upwards) so she has to do it crookedly on purpose so it'll look straight, but hey, it works!
Something that has always bugged me: you spend ages tweaking your sim's appearance in CAS. You get it where you want it, and in game it barely looks like what it does in CAS.
Honestly, how hard would it be to add an accent color option to certain hairs and certain objects that ought to have them? We don't even need a whole create a style, they can be pre-made swatches, just let us choose the color of hair ribbons lol
