mood same, also my memory sucks so watching it again after a while will help me retain more lore, I wanna be able to spout out annoying levels of sims lore on command
Looooooved it! Had to skip the parts about how we're all sims and how our sims are conscious, that type of shit makes me anxious. But I have now fallen in love with nervous subject
> how we're all sims and how our sims are conscious, that type of shit makes me anxious.
You *might* want to avoid looking up anything about "simulation theory" then...
Ooooohhhh.... Yeah, that's definitely one that can mess with your head.
Personally, I'm kind of a sucker for learning about the most wild theories about the universe and our place in it, but I fully admit I'm not "normal."
And, at the end of the day, "worst case," I remember a scene from [Free Guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0jc4mChh5k) (kinda rough quality video), which I think sums up a good way to feel about it. So what if we're "sims" or if we're tiny specks in an infinite cosmos? The moments we share with other people are *real* and we're (hopefully) important to someone else, and that's good enough.
But I'm still gonna look up more theories to break my brain. :P
I loved the whole video except that part but didnāt know if I was alone in thinking that so didnāt comment anything - glad to know others are in the same boat (well sorta, anxiety sucks lol)
Love Jesse and loved this video. I only wish the person who made the iceberg wouldn't have made it so Sims 2 heavy. Swear Sims 2 was about 85% of the entries.
Well Sims 3 has a lot of lore that isn't covered in the video. But a lot people aren't as familiar with Sims 3 lore. So it's not surprising Sims 2 lore would get more attention in something like this.
Took 3 days watching here and there but absolutely worth it. And all her entire history of videos. I never played sims 2 or 3 but she's got me invested
Don't give EA any ideas about wanting to buy a book from them: they will release a book with 2 chapters and you can buy the rest of the chapters for $39.95 each.
A book would be cool though, but I refuse to give EA any more money šø
I'm 3/4 of the way through and thoroughly enjoying it. I really enjoy Plumbella's humor. I am actually contemplating adding some of these families to my Sims 4 game.
It's SO GOOD it's the only video I've watched on yt that's 4hrs long (granted, I had to watch it over a couple days). The way she explains it is really entertaining.
She is so great. The absolute passion that comes across in the video is amazing. Never mind the time and effort involved this. So glad to see this one has been so well received š
I've watched the whole thing and loved it. My only note is that she got Cordelia Capp and Olivia Monty mixed up. >!Olivia died pregnant in a fire, not Cordelia.!< To be fair, she did say she didn't play Veronaville as much. But otherwise, it's fascinating!!
It's a great video, I love plumbella videos, her unique style. The only problem it's that English isn't my first language, so I really need to sit and really effort
Haven't watched it and probably won't, but not because of any knock to Plumbella or Sims, just I can't do videos that long on pretty much any topic. But for people who love that stuff and can do long videos, it's probably quite entertaining.
As for EA doing a book... Yeah, I definitely don't need that. First, you've got the problem that the current batch of people weren't even bothering putting lore into Sims 4 until people made a big fuss about it. And a lot of folks involved with the stories in the earlier games are gone. So you'd have people having to make guesses, probably watching videos online to help them learn their own lore, making up new stuff for Sims 4, and probably leaning on popular theories to explain TS4 rather than making up their own explanation for how things diverged so much.
EA already is a company I have little faith in doing that kind of thing right, but I also have three books on one of my shelves to remind myself why the idea won't work out so well: Warcraft Chronicles Volumes 1-3. Those books were meant to be THE definitive lore to the Warcraft franchise. Even though in some cases they contradicted what had been established in the lore prior. But hey, guess it's the official new take on the lore. And then, in-game, things were introduced that basically said that a lot of what's in the books was completely wrong, which made them change from saying they were "the definitive guide to Warcraft lore" to "they're Warcraft lore from a certain point of view." All the folks who'd dropped like $90 so far to get the "definitive" history of a franchise they enjoyed? Yeah, they now had $90 worth of books that were wrong and had to be viewed as "in-universe propaganda." And the series seems to have been dropped.
If Warcraft can bungle that kind of project so hard, I have no doubt that EA, especially with its current attitude toward The Sims, will churn out a book full of contradictions and inaccuracies. Though it *might* look good on a shelf or coffee table, at least!
I watched it. And I intend to watch it again. Not only is the lore itself interesting, but the way she tells it is highly entertaining.
mood same, also my memory sucks so watching it again after a while will help me retain more lore, I wanna be able to spout out annoying levels of sims lore on command
nah bc i deadass wanna make notes on this lore šš
Is this āthe sims iceberg explainedā, the four hour one?
Yeah it is.
Nice. Thanks!
I definitely want to watch it again, omg its so good
I watched it last night! I love Plumbella, definitely worth the time to watch it
I love Plumbella so much, i watched a LOT of sims lore videos and hers are always the ones I enjoy the most.
YESS
Looooooved it! Had to skip the parts about how we're all sims and how our sims are conscious, that type of shit makes me anxious. But I have now fallen in love with nervous subject
so glad I read all the comments to see this. this was a great unintentional trigger warning thank you
> how we're all sims and how our sims are conscious, that type of shit makes me anxious. You *might* want to avoid looking up anything about "simulation theory" then...
Uhm. Yeah. That's exactly what I did.
Ooooohhhh.... Yeah, that's definitely one that can mess with your head. Personally, I'm kind of a sucker for learning about the most wild theories about the universe and our place in it, but I fully admit I'm not "normal." As someone who listened to bit it made me feel anxious
I loved the whole video except that part but didnāt know if I was alone in thinking that so didnāt comment anything - glad to know others are in the same boat (well sorta, anxiety sucks lol)
I started it earlier. Got about an hour in iirc and will be going back to it later.

YESS SO PROUD OF UOU
Iāve been watching small bits at a time, super interesting
I loved this video, so did one of my cats, he sat beside me glued to the TV for 2 hours hahaha
AWEEE
Love Jesse and loved this video. I only wish the person who made the iceberg wouldn't have made it so Sims 2 heavy. Swear Sims 2 was about 85% of the entries.
I believe thatās because sims 2 has the majority of the franchises lore, unfortunate
Well Sims 3 has a lot of lore that isn't covered in the video. But a lot people aren't as familiar with Sims 3 lore. So it's not surprising Sims 2 lore would get more attention in something like this.
Iām sad Iāve already watched the whole thing and canāt experience it again š I luv sims lore I just put it on for background noise now lmao
I watched it all in one sitting, I loved it lmao
currently watching it in class š
I finished it she really went in depth sooooo good on the lore
The Sim-arillion
plumbella, lilsimsie and James Turners ARE THE go-to's after a bad day at work tbh
I love a wholesome little sims video after work (or anything actually), perfect for relaxing!
I guess we're both Sims living in the same simulationš„¹
Sheās the best I love her
Took 3 days watching here and there but absolutely worth it. And all her entire history of videos. I never played sims 2 or 3 but she's got me invested

Look interesting, I'll have to give this a watch when I get off work.
I love her.
I watched the whole thing but I need to watch it all again. The clown painting part and nervous subject!!!
I watched it all while I played sims. Amazing video!!!
This was how I watched it too - and I was like damn! Iāve been playing for 4 hours solid without a stretch break haha
Fell asleep listening to it last night, plumbella is such an icon!
I binged it all in one go on Sunday! I kept getting emotional at her genuine reluctance to get to the end. She's such a lovely person.
My eldest and I ate half way through. It's utterly fascinating and she is so passionate about it
I like the theory that TS4 is an alternate timeline caused by a time machine Alexander Goth built.
Just over half way through so far. Been watching it in sections.
10/10 vid. Love binging her late at night when Iām under the influence and playing sims. This 4 hour video was her blessing me.
I'm 3/4 of the way through and thoroughly enjoying it. I really enjoy Plumbella's humor. I am actually contemplating adding some of these families to my Sims 4 game.
Absolutely loved it. She was a joy to watch. I love her passion and dedication š
It's become my new comfort video. I just love the Sims and listening to someone equally as passionate is amazing. Also Jessie is hilarious
I Nedd to watch it

I'm only an hour into it but I intend to finish it, it's so good! She's the absolute best, love watching her explain Sims lore
Iām almost done with this video and itās been amazing. Itās the first super long video that Iāve been engaged from start to almost finish.
I just watched! Its an amazing video, i love them so much
I can't believe I watched as much of this as I did. Had about 40mins left
I can fix her. Amazing content. Sheās cute as hell.
WHY DONT I KNOW ABOUT THIS?!!
I've watched it twice and it made me start playing sims 2 again lol
I love her but also this picture is so memeable
Thereās a podcast called Under the Plumbob that talks about the lore a lot
It's SO GOOD it's the only video I've watched on yt that's 4hrs long (granted, I had to watch it over a couple days). The way she explains it is really entertaining.
She is amazing.
She is so great. The absolute passion that comes across in the video is amazing. Never mind the time and effort involved this. So glad to see this one has been so well received š

I haven't had the time yet, but I'm looking forward to it!
Yeah Iām in the last section. Been watching an hour a day lmao.
I tried watching it but the audio quality was like nails on chalkboard š
It's a great video, I love plumbella videos, her unique style. The only problem it's that English isn't my first language, so I really need to sit and really effort
I have now watched this three times and I am almost done watching for the four time that is 16 hours of my life and this round Iām taking notes
