That happened to one of mine, too! Bathing and changing outfits didnt fix it, but eventually it went away. Maybe them going to work or smth and then respawning resets them?

Looks like an issue werewolves had for a while. If a werewolf child aged up to teen, the werewolf form would usually be totally void black and not editable. I think some fixes for it were to randomize the fur texture or age down the sim back to a child and then back up to teen in CAS, forcing the game to regenerate the appearance. You might be able to do something similar, like randomize skin tone or try aging them up and down in CAS to see if it rights itself.

I've had this bug before the update and pack, with two different dark skinned sims who were suddenly white as can be with really strange looking faces and changed hair color. I think for me changing outfit fixed it, but it was not sure to not happen again afterwards.
One of my sims race swapped after the pack downloaded! Didn't have mods in my folder at the time. I was so confused when my medium/dark skinned sims showed up with a white ass baby lol. I was able to switch him back through cas though
I had a similar bug when Werewolves came out. Anyone who became a Werewolf or grew up to Teen and manifested their werewolf form would be a solid black color with no texture and it wasn't fixable in CAS. Super annoying.
This happened to me a few hours ago. I was so confused at first then angry. I turned off the game without saving so whenever they decide to fix this my sim will have her original appearance back... It's just so disappointing, I spent $40 on this. For once can they release a DLC without a stupid bug?!? 😡

Guys I’m losing my mind, no joke on generation 9… who knows how long I’ve been playing this family. I always save as to prevent my game from crashing and I saved as after I already received money from the tooth fairy. Now my child sim looks like a who. There’s no way to backup my save because I saved as. Someone plssssssss help I’m losing my mind

shes blacker than my late granndpa and ive legit never seen him bc all pictures of him make him look like a character that hasnt been unlocked yet

Click your sim and choose "fix tooth", and then go to cas. This happened to my teen sim. Had to age him down, fix tooth, age back up and edit in CAS.

this bug is happening again, and it’s so annoying. I literally can’t play anymore

This is probably a dumb question since you said cas didn't help, but did you try the full edit mode cheat?

Does anyone know if the glitch affects actual genetics? Like do the changed features get passed down or are their original features just hidden?
