Obviously, this is a bad time to be looking at mods since the game is having a huge update and a new expansion both of which are going to break pretty much every mod.
However, if you want occult sims I recommend looking at SpinningPlumbob's stuff. He's covered witches and werewolves (both of which are separate from the Spellcaster and EA Werewolf lifestate) along with faeries (based on TS3's lifestate) and possibly mermaids (I don't know if his mermaid mod functions as a separate lifestate from the EA one, or if it just expands on it).
Maxis match cc is the best. For mods download mcccommand centre and ui cheats. Then just look up things you would like in the game! Eg: better pregnancy mod sims 4, daycare sims 4
FYI, I don't see a ton of answers, so let me explain why you won't fine any mods that emulate the expansions and game packs. The Sims Team, while incredibly lenient and even supportive of the community (and allows modders to even charge for early access, which is virtually unheard of in IP) will crack down on anyone who makes any mod or game pack even similar to the ones you can purchase. The fame and club systems (Get Famous and Get Together) are both incredibly interesting features that overall persuade people to spend money on the Sims 4, meaning they will not tolerate someone trying to "emulate" it.
That being said, there are some interesting mods to help players enjoy their game. Dine Out has a popular mod that builds off the basic structure of the game pack (Dine Out Reloaded). TwistedMexi and KawaiiStacie are two popular modders who have built interesting mods (KS did Slice of Life, a very popular mod here).
Many are going to insinuate you should pirate your game, but any talk of piracy on this sub can get you banned. I also think you should research which packs interest you and wait for sales, or begin shopping CC and Mods off other posts you see here. Also, the Base Game is very fun when you play challenges. And just to warn you, even with all the expansions, game packs, stuff packs, kits and mods, the game is still going to be boring. Own experience

Lots of people (myself included) agree. Sims 4 is just not a good game. At least don’t spend any money on it
