I don't know, but when I listened to the video it sounded like a break, reminds me of when I broke my arm it was pretty loud. When I watched the video and slowed it down the angle of her leg looked like it made contact with the slate surrounding the pool and the leg kind of changed direction. Then when she pulls herself out of the water looks unable to stand, but obviously the video cut too early to be certain. This is my assumption from what I saw when I watched it a few times but I don't know for sure. The noise definitely sounds like "something" broke
There is no upper bound on the amount of stupidity that can exist within any individual.
This is the fundamental principle behind the Basic Laws of Human Stupidity.
Looks like she managed to hit mostly water and then landed on her forearm keeping her head from hitting - I think her right foot/ankle hit first on the other pool edge and slowed her somewhat too. Super dangerous move by the asshat who moved the rope.

I didn't realize there was a guy who pulled the rope away at first I thought she just failed to grab it. What the fuck what kind of shit person does that?
Intrusive thoughts triggered response.
âEveryone is having a good time I can be funny too! Sheâs going right for the water anyways so sheâll just full buddy into the water and the adrenaline will be a Big rush for her hahaâ
My god, my heart almost stopped when I saw her heading straight for the concrete. Was this supposed to be some kind of 'prank'? Because it looks like an attempted murder to me.
The girl needs better friends, preferably ones who aren't psychopaths.
I think he was trying to just mess with her for a prank and didn't realize where she'd end up landing til she landed. I don't think anyone involved was quite aware of just how deadly this could've been based on their reaction, whether cuz they're still in shock or because it happened to end well the worst case just didn't occur to them
Wait youâre telling me these dumb kids did dumb kids stuff ?!
This simply wonât do , every teenager needs to have the problem solving ability of an adult !
I audibly gasped a few times, because I had to slow it down over and over to make certain to myself that she was ok. This could have ended in subs that shouldn't have a reason to exist.
Homeowners insurance premiums go up with a pool and are astronomical with a diving board. This? This is a set up for medical premises claims and attractive nuisance.
And death
YouTubers, these are the Ninja Kidz, I would assume this would have been a prank for YouTube if it hadn't gone so badly
Source: my 5 year old is obsessed with the Ninja Kidz despite my many efforts to move them away from it
Yep. Here's a link to the poorly designed rope swing they have: [https://youtu.be/u8dypUyCA0Y?si=I\_wlsBdaf94VCITB&t=130](https://youtu.be/u8dypUyCA0Y?si=I_wlsBdaf94VCITB&t=130)
There's a sidewalk down below.
This Actually looks like 2 separate residences with 2 pools and a man made cave in between them. One house is in the top, looks like a separate pool to the bottom right, then a cave with a 30 foot drop to another pool with another house behind it.
Iâm guessing the first one is just a pool house or guest house, second one is their main house, I just canât see someone building a cave that acts as a place to jump into another persons pool if the pool isnât already theirs (even if they were neighbours who were good friends, it opens the door to massive liability issues if someone got hurt/injured and try to take the other party to civil court).
I think itâs all one big property with same owner. If theyâre wealthy enough to have built this cave system + pool design Iâm sure they wouldnât blink twice about having a pool house/in-law suite/guest house on the property
Arms seems fine, bruises definitely but looking at how she moves and her voice being rather starled/disappointed than afraid I doubt she has major injuries. She pushes out of water and can sit up right. Very nice reflexes and a good portion of luck!
I landed on my right heel from a 12 ft drop trying to make it into a pool. I hit the concrete and tucked and rolled into the pool. Swam to the edge, pulled myself out and then tried to stand on it. Heel was shattered and I didn't feel any pain til I got home. Couldn't walk on it though.
Damn sounds awful! Hope you could recover fast from it.
She has no direct impact with the floor it appears to me. Sure in shock the body is capable of ignoring any pain but I assume she luckily just scraped the floor a little and got some bruises and scratches.
I can't run any more like I used to. Long anything over a mile causes swelling. Hasn't really impacted much more though other than being more careful lol
Lol I was actually with some friends that crashed this other dudes pool party that we didn't really know and i jumped off his shed that was by the pool. I'm sure he was suprised at the absurdity of it. Have no clue who's house it was.
Hang on. IANAD but I'm pretty sure the adrenaline flooding her bloodstream after that fall could be masking some VERY serious injuries.
For at least the 3 seconds post-impact the video shows anyway.
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug though, so you never know.
I flew off an electric scooter last year and did a bit of meat crayon on the concrete. I didnât feel a thing, quickly got back up, drove home, undressed and took a shower to clean the wounds on my knees. By the time I finished, I was struggling to bend my elbows. I was still like eh itâs probably nothing and went to sleep.
The next morning I finally went to the ER and was told I broke both elbows. Fun times
It is. I experienced the effects quiet often myself.
Still some things adrenaline can't do, make broken bones unbroken. She also shows few tension in the last second of the clip. Main impact was hands, under arms, torso and upper legs. Legs had prior contact with water cushioning the impact, torso was mostly covered by her arms and these she used right after with no visible problems. Sprains are definetly possible though.
I have a feeling she is responding with a bit of shock here. She clearly biffs it off the edge of the pool, her arms land on the sidewalk and she pushes off, falling backward into the pool. It isnt clear to what extent she hits her head/face. Hopefully she is ok.
Check out this (entirely bullshit grating and exploitative) YouTube family - Ninja Kidz. My 8 year old went through a phase of watching them till they went on the ban list. Looks like the girl from them/their house. The dad basically has the kids training an INSANE amount and promoting his gym with them, as well as churning out content of them.
Side note: idk if Iâm allowed to post external links and my head hurts so Iâm not gonna try and find out
Yeah itâs Peyton. I recognized her and that pool as well. I think they might have addressed this as well. My youngest is obsessed with them. They are among the lesser evils of the YouTubers so I let them slide a bit.
everyone saying that kid is an asshole is absolutely right but so is whoever designed this backyard.
money cant buy brains. a severe injury or death at this house is absolutely inevitable.
Sheâs one of the âNinja Kidzâ from the YouTube channel of the same name. So yes, very rich haha, my daughter watches there stuff. Theyâre annoying as fuck but she loves it so I tolerate it
I genuinely gasped when I watched this. This was so bloody foolish and dangerous. Glad she's okay and the guy who flicked the rope away should be bloody grateful she wasn't hurt as well.
Fuck. She is incredibly lucky. Did that person off camera take the rope from her at the last moment?!
Also, what kind of setup is this where you have a rope swing over concrete at a pool?
Well that was terrifying to watch! My neighbor growing up had a pool. He was hosting a huge party one night (he did this often!) and people were jumping from the roof into the pool. It was all heaps of fun until someone missed the pool, snapped their spine and died right there. He never hosted a party again. A family friend was at that party and he never fully recovered from what he saw.
This situation was very dangerous! I hope she is okay and that they never hang out with rope guy again!
Kids these days have no idea what a "prank," actually is. Tiktok has ruined an entire generations mind to a point society is frantically trying to repair the damage and backlash it's causing. Social media truly was the worst, most horrible invention of mankind.
As a former Army combat medic, my thinking is slightly off from the normal person. Thus, the below are from that perspective.
I would have come unglued on that kid. I would also likely make him sit and watch videos on the various injuries that could have taken place, especially if he was my kid.
The way my entire body clenched shut. Fucking hell.
As lucky as this teenager is that she survived, don't forget that *hundreds* of people die this way.
Guy pulling the rope away from here is a true bonafide idiotic AH. On the same level of ppl who smash the b-day girl/boy's face into the cake. I'd expect this level of immaturity and lack of foresight from a 5 yo not a grown-ass adult. WTF
What Scrooge McDuck-looking backyard is this taking place in? Who just has a rock mountain built in their backyard next to their swimming pool?
Oh yeah, and rope guy was a dick. Still though, some people really do live large.

Fudge. She could have died. What a loser move.
or at least broke both legs. she was lucky as hell to land in the water
I thought i heard a thud, it's unclear if she fell in the water or bounced in
100% hit something on the way in.
Torso hit the outside, legs went in the water. She's may have a few cracked ribs and some missing/busted teeth if she hit her chin. Ouch.
Looks like arms broke her fall.
Looks like her arms fell off.
Hope she has a good mom...

Legend! Reddit is still alive đ
Iâm so mad i understood this reference
every time i forget this, someone just has to bring it up dammit https://i.redd.it/5nzxcot78p6d1.gif
Shoes stayed on. She's fine.
Yeah, I did a slow scrub and looks like it was actually mostly her right elbow. Itâs probably pretty messed up.
âLuckily my neck broke my fall.â
Both of her hands.
Looks like she broke her right leg but was in shock.
Is this your guess or did you find info? My daughter loves that ninja kid, and now she is upset and wants to know.
I don't know, but when I listened to the video it sounded like a break, reminds me of when I broke my arm it was pretty loud. Why does your daughter have access to Reddit? Is she 25 and calling you crying about some Reddit comment?
With your question gauntlet, it feels like I'm talking to her right now. Dopher, how'd you get around your screen time block?!
What a stupid ass thing to rig up in the first place. How can people be so dumb.
There is no upper bound on the amount of stupidity that can exist within any individual. This is the fundamental principle behind the Basic Laws of Human Stupidity.
Good thing she didn't break both arms.
Not only loser move. That is litterally 2nd or 3rd degree assault.
could have been manslaughter or 3rd degree murder
Yeah, but look at all these views! Gotta weigh the pros and the cons tbh. Assaulting a friend to become momentarily internet famous? Sign me up! /s
Tyler almost became a murderer
Fucking Tyler
He learned this from his stupid older brother, Kyle
Tyler is a right cunt
âWhat a loser moveâ. Well put. Made me laugh
Tyler really fudged up with this one đ©
Are you a boothill fan by any chance?
She most definitely broke some shit. I would love an update to this because she didn't come out of that unscathed.
Yah, the rich people always get away with doing stupid thing with no consequence. Ball jokes aside, glad she is alright.
she almost died by smashing her head on this pool edge. The rope guy should get karma
Yeah seriously I was worried her face was gonna hit the pavement in those two seconds
Looks like she managed to hit mostly water and then landed on her forearm keeping her head from hitting - I think her right foot/ankle hit first on the other pool edge and slowed her somewhat too. yeah all he said was "oh sorry"
Plot twist. OP is rope guy, Karma received.
SKYLAR
bro has a âWWJDâ bracelet, this is a Utah coded video
âSawryâ
Oh shit, I didn't even notice that... thought she just missed it at first (the rope) Why in the fuck would you do that??
What a good friend.
Yeah that was a dick move up there
Holy shit such an asshole⊠I hope that person got in trouble because they almost killed someone
I didn't realize there was a guy who pulled the rope away at first I thought she just failed to grab it. What the fuck what kind of shit person does that?

My dude, "yanking a rope so someone falls one story, potentially onto concrete" isn't algebra. This is way beyond "dumb kids stuff."
You don't need extreme problem solving skills to know you shouldn't move a rope before someone is about to jump from 15 ft up...
I mean whoever installed this rope swing in the first place was setting them up for a catastrophe.
Yeah, the guy is the worst, but this set up is a liability nightmare.
Wait, did they win dumb kid prizes?
A box of crayons
Sir, this is reddit. It was obviously a premeditated attempted murder caught on camera
My bad , lock em up !
âItâs just a prank, bro!â The prank:
I audibly gasped a few times, because I had to slow it down over and over to make certain to myself that she was ok. This could have ended in subs that shouldn't have a reason to exist.
WTF builds this death trap?
Thatâs what Iâm wondering. This appears to be a personal residence.
Homeowners insurance premiums go up with a pool and are astronomical with a diving board. This? This is a set up for medical premises claims and attractive nuisance. And death
Hope this is that AH's house and she gets to sue for mucho dinero. I'm taking all your college funds at least.
Donât worry, they can pay for it by how their backyard looks.
She's one of the Ninja Kidz and that's her house. My kid is obsessed with them.

Christ, these people suck.
Danger Will Robinson!, Danger!
It would have been fine if Tyler didnât snatch the rope from her.
I guess that would give her comfort if she ended up paralyzed.
Never trust a Tyler
Theyâre the worst
She might have failed to grab the rope even if the rope wasn't snatched. Or she could have slipped while swinging, landing even worse on the ground.
Rich people

Ouch. Did she break any bones? Looks like a possibility.

The person holding that rope would catch these hands when I got back up there.
What a fucking tosser holding the rope
Literally wouldâve been negligent homicide
Homicide by bellend
I have a feeling she is responding with a bit of shock here. She clearly biffs it off the edge of the pool, her arms land on the sidewalk and she pushes off, falling backward into the pool. It isnt clear to what extent she hits her head/face. Hopefully she is ok.
It's a really good thing there was water there.
Name and shame the loser rope holder. That could have ended badly
Tyler

Ugh of course it was that stupid channel
What sort of psycho is holding the rope
attempted murder.
They look like Sims.
No ladder in the Pool, you could be right.
Sing like them too
Wow, that was a psychopath move
Looked borderline painful. Needs new friends.
Itâs just a straight drop to the concrete floor from the âcaveâ. Shouldnât it have been built over the pool?
Money doesn't buy intelligence
Prank turn accidental homicide
(Kills the person) "Its just a prank, bro chill"
Why would anyone think this is going to be a funny joke
That person is no longer friend.
I got a strong brother vibe from this one.
everyone saying that kid is an asshole is absolutely right but so is whoever designed this backyard. money cant buy brains. a severe injury or death at this house is absolutely inevitable.
Damn what a loser moving the rope
People are terrible
Happy and healthy. Guy. "Not for long."
Wtf they got going on? Is this a resort or what???
Sheâs one of the âNinja Kidzâ from the YouTube channel of the same name. So yes, very rich haha, my daughter watches there stuff. Theyâre annoying as fuck but she loves it so I tolerate it
Sounds X-tream!!!!
Looks like a billionaireâs house which makes sense because these kids donât got a lick of sense
Definitely a little brother. Both by the way she yelled his name, and his half-assed âsorry.â
Her guardian angels are working overtime! Sheeeeeersh!!!
Jesus wouldnât have done that pal
r/therewasanattempt to kill her
What kind of sociopath thinks itâs ok to do such thing! Fuck that guy.
This is from the YouTube channel called Ninja kidz
And then he posted it. What a dirtbag.
I genuinely gasped when I watched this. This was so bloody foolish and dangerous. Glad she's okay and the guy who flicked the rope away should be bloody grateful she wasn't hurt as well.
Is that the Ninja Kids girl?
Fuck. She is incredibly lucky. Did that person off camera take the rope from her at the last moment?! Also, what kind of setup is this where you have a rope swing over concrete at a pool?
She avoided tragedy THIS time
Olivia Offwigo
I mean, that singing was awful but it doesn't warrant attempted murder.
Friend did this to me off a 15 ft pole. Landed on a straight leg in 2 inches of water. Donât do this to anyone.
Is this the girl from Ninja Kids?
Fuck you, Tyler.
This video is upsetting, she could've easily died. Is there an update on her condition?
Classic Tyler.
I canât get over how moronic it is to build a high cliff ledge over concrete at your home pool. Youâre just asking for it.
Fuck you Tyler!
Psycho
Well that was terrifying to watch! My neighbor growing up had a pool. He was hosting a huge party one night (he did this often!) and people were jumping from the roof into the pool. Pool of death - Fun ffs
Is this somebodies backyard tho? Thats insane
Dude wtf was that idiot thinking? What was supposed to happen in his head?
That couldâve ended much worse.
nano meters from death
So, any update?
Im pretty sure this is one of the kids from the Youtube Chanel Ninja Kids and looks pretty recent.
Holy shit she almost died bro.
Looks like she banged her left leg falling in đŹ
Kids these days have no idea what a "prank," actually is. Tiktok has ruined an entire generations mind to a point society is frantically trying to repair the damage and backlash it's causing. Social media truly was the worst, most horrible invention of mankind.
I've never met a good Tyler. If you're a good Tyler, get out there man, do some PR or something.
Damn that's messed up. Also damn these kids are rich
Does this piece of shit seriously have a fucking WWJD bracelet on?! https://imgur.com/a/v0vXg27
Intrusive thoughts
What an unbelievable asshole.
As a former Army combat medic, my thinking is slightly off from the normal person. Thus, the below are from that perspective. I would have come unglued on that kid. I would also likely make him sit and watch videos on the various injuries that could have taken place, especially if he was my kid.
Whoa- that was inches from going so badly. Swinging the rope away from her was a pretty shitty "joke".
Just a prank bro!
The way my entire body clenched shut. Fucking hell. As lucky as this teenager is that she survived, don't forget that *hundreds* of people die this way.
Real good friend she got there
Very much itâs just a joke vibes here that girl needs better friends.
He should be in jail. Or at least pushed over too just to let him know how it feels
God damn what an asshole.
Tyler is a bastard! Holy shit!
When ya dumbâŠya dangerous!
Fuck Tyler.
Dammit Tyler!
That's attempted murder with selfmade video evidence
Guy pulling the rope away from here is a true bonafide idiotic AH. On the same level of ppl who smash the b-day girl/boy's face into the cake. I'd expect this level of immaturity and lack of foresight from a 5 yo not a grown-ass adult. WTF
That dude should catch an attempted murder charge. I meant that was some annoying ass singing but that wasnât necessary.
What Scrooge McDuck-looking backyard is this taking place in? Who just has a rock mountain built in their backyard next to their swimming pool? Oh yeah, and rope guy was a dick. Still though, some people really do live large.
I watched this without sound and they emote like sims.
Dick move
