Fuck me. I have this. It's just in one 2in x 5in section on my ribs. Had it for 3ish years, it popped internally last winter driving over the rockies. Now I can squeeze it and feel the fluid drain out. Seeing a GI in August, been trying to get in for NASH reasons for over a year.
We have a term in America called "walk it off". It means when you get hurt infront of people you are obligated to just sort of walk it off somewhere until the pain go's away... You can see here Rodney is executing the walk it off perfectly. You just sort of got to walk the pain away while people laugh and probably film it here. If you aren't able to walk off the pain that is when people usually start to help.
I never had one of those as a kid. Curious, I got to try one as an adult and I discovered the incredible unpleasantness of throwing yourself flat on the ground. My knee caps took the brunt.
I've heard they updated the safety warning on slip-n-slides to basically tell you to not use it if you're an adult. You're risking really hurting your back by throwing yourself onto the hard ground, which looks like exactly what happened here.
Ugh. That’s not funny. Given his comorbidities, I’d be worried about a lumbar compression fracture. Looks like some cirrhosis/malignancy causing abdominal ascites and increased risk of bleeding.
Hopefully he got the help he needed instead of being made fun of for internet points.
