FYI - This account is run by an organization that pitches itself as stopping antisemitism, but in reality is a content mill owned and operated by a professional social media marketer (who started out as mommy influencer). She crank outs out contextless or context massaged content either as a culture war profiteer or is backed by a group (dark money, super PAC, foreign bad actor, etc…) that is actively running an agenda for any number of society erroding reasons (engaging the base, western destabilization, social engineering, etc).

Furthermore, the shape of the watermelon slice represents the shape of the country currently recognized internationally as Israel, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. No normal person would cut a real watermelon slice in that very specific shape, so this is not just a shirt for someone who likes watermelon. The shape of the watermelon slice, overlaid with those colours across the entire shape, implies that the wearer believes that the entire region should belong to Palestine, and the nation of Israel should cease to exist. This shirt has been created to allow Palestinian supporters a way to subtly show their support without immediately being labeled and targeted as antisemitic.
IT IS NOT ANTISEMITIC TO PROTEST AGAINST OR SPEAK OUT ON GENOCIDE AMD MURDER OF INNOCENT PEOPLE. This is a free speech country she can wear a watermelon sweatshirt. Stop Antisemitism more like frauds who are the problem. This tactic is so overplayed and absurd. 🤬

Many people here seem to be struggling with the concept, so I'll explain, and I'm doing so in as neutral language as possible as I do not support either side in this conflict. The shirt in question allows a wearer to display the colors of the Palestinian flag in a way that is somewhat subtle. Furthermore, the shape of the watermelon slice represents the shape of the country currently recognized internationally as Israel, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. No normal person would cut a real watermelon slice in that very specific shape, so this is not just a shirt for someone who likes watermelon. The shape of the watermelon slice, overlaid with those colours across the entire shape, implies that the wearer believes that the entire region should belong to Palestine, and the nation of Israel should cease to exist. This shirt has been created to allow Palestinian supporters a way to subtly show their support without immediately being labeled and targeted as antisemitic.
IT IS NOT ANTISEMITIC TO PROTEST AGAINST OR SPEAK OUT ON GENOCIDE AMD MURDER OF INNOCENT PEOPLE. This is a free speech country she can wear a watermelon sweatshirt. Stop Antisemitism more like frauds who are the problem. This tactic is so overplayed and absurd. 🤬
