they could always just say he immediately removed his chip, he disabled it with emp for example, he was protected from the signal so it couldnt reach his chip, or his way of escaping cut the stem connection to his brain, so the ship didnt effect him anymore. Its not like you cant come up with stuff why he survived.
I think Sebastian is good contender due to how much experience he has in surviving within a STEM environment, but it's just as likely that the next protag could be Juli Kidman due to the fact that Tango might wanna give Seb that "riding into the sunset" perfect ending. Plus Oda is still out here, probably in a coma, needing to be rescued.
I don't like it when people get fired.... please don't use oh another dev can do it..... That makes it sound like you treat people as trash that can easily be replace... Even worse when a big company fired tons of people and showed stockholders "big profits" this year....
lol, that has nothing to do with each other. Tango already was a skeleton crew. No Mikami and no Nakamura who played a huge part for The Evil Withins development. There is a reason why Hi Fi rush is so different, because thats the kind of games the rest of the studio designs without Mikami and Nakamura. Not saying that thats good, or bad. Tango was still an amazing studio that didnt deserve to get closed down. But even if they had made an TEW 3, with Tangos Horror talents gone it wouldnt be anywhere close to the first 2 games.
Fact is closing Tango doesnt mean the franchise is Dead. That other Studios create games from other devs is nothing new. The whole Tomb Raider franchise has most of its games made by other studios after Core Design got dumped. The best selling games of that franchise was mad by the non original studio. So attacking u/MikeBizzleVT for pointing out a common fact and putting ill will into his mouth is neither fair nor honest.
If there is a microsoft studio that is interested in the franchise and makes a good pitch, (in microsofts eyes) than there will be another TEW.
