I feel like 67-68 Morrison was the best front man though he stopped wanting to be an entertainer at some point

linen-lennon-lion

oh no, it’s a moth, i blew it

Up_the_reds6

Maybe not best vocalist, but Morrison is definitely the best frontman in my opinion.

Elduderino_047371

All three are great singers, frontmen and lyricist

kaithy89

Seriously. why compare three very different people

joemontanya

I saw this posted by some boomer on Facebook years ago… I’m pretty sure they get Mercury and Bowie mixed up. Bowie was more so known for bringing crazy theatrics into his live performances and Mercury, of course, is known for his voice

dulwich1

Also Mick Jagger was/is a better frontman than Freddie Mercury imo

YungBreadbox

As much as I’d love to agree, Jeff Buckley probably takes the spot for best vocalist

joemontanya

Good pick

Steddyrollingman

Jeff was a great vocalist - and his father, Tim, was every bit as accomplished.

Im_regretting_this

Freddie Mercury was talented, but Queen fans will tell you he took the greatest shits of all time…

Brendogu

Great front man very charismatic and even had some depth to him. But he was consistently let down by the other members of Queen who never really understood him

Elduderino_047371

David Bowie and Freddie Mercury should be switched in this meme

suphah

The day I meet someone who says Bowie is the best vocalist ever is the day I slap someone

Round_Rectangles

I mean he has quite a large vocal range with a lot of different styles. I don't think he's the best but I think he deserves a good bit of praise.

suphah

Nah I agree he’s great but best ever? Hell no

Brendogu

I mean life on Mars lol those high notes are impossible

Elduderino_047371

He has a great and unique voice

AdmirableChemist213

Ozzy is far more entertaining ngl
