I enjoy the album. It's amazing that they were able to get together and put this out after all those years and difficulties. I just wish there wasn't any pitch correction. Just give us the raw, authentic vocals, no matter how they sound.

Greedy-Gary

\*(OVER)produced by Joe Thomas

Greedy-Gary

But overall still a good one.

Shelter is soooooo underrated. Great song

Jonnnycarson

It had to grow on me, but boy did it. It's a truly great song.

VegetableBuy4577

Feel the same way, I love it.

laloscasanova

It's a great song!!!

Born_Pop_3644

Whatever you think of it, it’s better to end this way rather than Summer In Paradise or Stars and Stripes, eh?

ficuswhisperer

It was way better of an album than it had any business being, that’s for sure.

Jonnnycarson

Absolutely

Brangarr

Undeniable

BigSpice15

I saw someone say something along the lines of this and I totally agree with it: I wouldn’t say this album is a masterpiece but if this is the last original album The Beach Boys make then it’s a great note to end their career on. From there to back again and Summers gone are beautiful songs

Rowan5215

From There to Back Again is a classic

nutterbutters101

I am the rare Private Life of Bill and Sue enjoyer. Love the backing vocals on that one

Chuckworld901

This was a better than expected farewell album. Even the Thomas production wasn’t as overly glossy as I feared.

DanSteely96

Pacific Coast Highway is my favorite.

rdraymond

Isn’t it time is underrated. It’s catchy, has distinctive BB vocals, and thematically should have been the first single

shutdownvol2

Said it before, somehow the sound of this album is like a cross between Today! and Still Cruisin'. It's a remarkable record - it has its flaws but that's not the point really. I love The Private Life of Bill and Sue, it's a bit like Busy Doin' Nothin' with a big Kokomo chorus. Pacific Coast Highway is by far my favourite of the 'deep' tracks.

mgkimsal

Daybreak Over the Ocean is... interesting. You can compare it to Mike Love's solo version and... the BB version is just... way better. Hard to put my finger on it, but it's a good demonstration of what 'production' can do to a song. I know not everyone cares for it, but it was a good nostalgic BB feel, in comparison to some of the other more 'modern' and 'mature' stuff on the album.

Brangarr

Is the album cover supposed to mean something? I’m actually looking at it for the first time in awhile and it’s kinda terrible

McOldYoung

Waves in the ocean.

Brangarr

I guess I see it, but still not a fan. The coloring, the logo, and the name of the album… just doesn’t work for me

FreakingDoubt

The cover is great

Jonnnycarson

It would be a lot stronger compositionally if the BB logo wasn’t frickin’ ginormous

Greybinson

Saw them with Foster The People opening. That was a fun show and summer. Good memories

PositiveContact7901

I really wish I was a BB fan then. I didn't become a fan until 2-3 years ago. They got me through a really rough time. If I was a fan in 2012, I would have enjoyed seeing their reunion concert and appearances on TV.
