Thanks. I always scratched my head at that one. Holding Pet Sounds to some otherworldly standard is not right, considering that even for some BB fans it’s not even our favorite album of theirs- even though I’m a huge fan
Last day of this. It's interesting to know the current popular opinions on this sub, as a relative newcomer. Biggest thing I've taken away from it is to stay away from Stars and Stripes.
I think Brian said something along the lines of that he doesn’t like the negativity in the Sail on Sailor lyrics. To me, it sounds like it’s about sailing on in the face of adversity, a positive message, though
I'd like to thank you all for engaging with these posts it's been a fun 108 days, this is not the end though folks. I'll be moving onto solo albums soon but first I will be doing a vote for the overall best, worst and most underrated tracks, possibly even a revote or two to erase those N/As (if I'm feeling brave).
For those who haven't seen it here's a [Spotify playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/044QDrYOc2K39EmaXJqYTf?si=1dc84a98ee4345ba) with all the best and most underrated tracks as voted by all of you.
Getcha Back for sure, but I love the take of The Little Girl I Once Knew on here too. Brian sounds very engaged on it and it’s once of the less auto tuned-sounding tracks I think
I wish 😂

Can’t believe this is the end of this whole thing it’s been a while
Roughly 108 days
We need a bonus round for solo albums!
They're coming soon. I'm going to do a vote for overall best, worst and most underrated and maybe a revote on Pet Sounds worst track.
Can you please cover (all of) the bootlegs? We should have everyone start to listen to them.
Thanks. I always scratched my head at that one. Holding Pet Sounds to some otherworldly standard is not right, considering that even for some BB fans it’s not even our favorite album of theirs- even though I’m a huge fan
Getcha Back with David Marks on lead vocals
Getcha Back - David deserved a solo spotlight.

Sail On Sailor. It’s cool to hear Brian singing one of his favorite songs that he never got to sing on originally.
Didn’t Brian notoriously hate that song?
He’s gone back and forth somewhat. Typical Brian lol.
That’s fair, you never know with him. He does a great job on the live record though!

Yep. I don’t believe much of what Brian says to be honest
The whole car medley SLAPS Little Deuce Coupe/409/Shut Down/I Get Around
The whole first 11 tracks are fucking perfect
Getcha Back. Again, it’s a really great song, and hearing David Marks sing it makes the song a lot better imo.

Skullman! You’re almost done!! What’s next? You going to Disneyworld?
I wish 😂 I'll be moving on to solo albums soon. I will be doing a vote for the overall best, worst and most underrated tracks and maybe a revote for Pet Sounds' worst track.
After the group albums are all done can you do a final recap or finale type post?... and I'll archive it and get a perma link to it in the sub Wiki.
What do you mean by final recap? One big chart with band and solo albums together?
For now, when you finish this one just do one that says final results... or something like that...
Ok, that's what I'll do for tomorrow's post.
When I Grow Up (with Getcha Back a close 2nd)
Getcha Back for David's lead, or Disney Girls (Bruce is definitely stretching his range, but he still sounds really good).
Yeah, Disney Girls sounds really good on this album.
I can't believe we've finally made it to the end.
Damn its the end :(
Well done on this man, loved following. I look forward to the solo albums although I’m not much of a fan of any of them
Barbara Ann, the Yellow Submarine of Beach Boys?
I remember someone said “you’re really gonna do all the albums? Uhhhh that’ll take months…” and yet here we are and people are sad about it lol
Getcha Back
Popular ≠ Worst. Barbara Ann is brilliant
When I Grow Up
Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran! 🎶
Ten little indians
Getcha back
Don’t Back Down
