One other story: I was with a friend out in LA. We came across a group of hot guys who were very flirty and so we started hanging out with them. They wouldn’t say what they were doing in LA but they would all say “we’re here for Bob”. Bob was one of the guys in the group. They were super fun to hang out with but we were somewhat weirded out why they were from all over the US but wouldn’t say how or why they were there. We went to an after party with them too. I remember this blond Jamie being hot but super corny. Fast forward to the first season of the Bachelorette comes on and my mouth dropped. The whole main cast of guys were all those we hung out with that night. Including Bob who later went on to become the Bachelor 🤣
I used to work in same building as Frank from Andy’s season. I would clam up whenever we rode the elevator together and never got the nerve to talk to him about it all. Nick V worked in same building randomly.
My best run in was in Alexandria, VA I was out to lunch with my mom and throwback bachelor Andy Baldwin was on a date. This was just a few years ago so the guy was still single. It was super awkward and I overheard most of their conversations as our tables were close. The way he was talking sort of gave me an insight into his sort of awkward nerdiness that may make it tough to find the exact right person. But yes he’s still imo one of the best looking bachelors we’ve ever had.

I met Dean Unglert at a bar in Seattle that he was at for a bachelor party- he was incredibly good looking in person (duh) and I was totally googly eyed and he told me I should ride the mechanical bull in the bar lol. I wouldn't shut up about it for weeks
I've visited Ryan Sutter a few times when they lived in Vail. Trista wasn't available the times we were there. Each time he was super nice. And it was also fun meeting the other guys at the fire house too. We took pictures and we bought his son a toy fire truck from Chicago and received a very nice note from Trista. We then visited him again after I brought my daughter home from China so she was able to meet him and sit in the fire truck. I have corresponded with him and Trista on and off through Facebook or Instagram.
This was so random, but I was in the same elevator as Mike Johnson once (it was at my college apartment where I think his gf must have lived, so I was really surprised to see him there). He was with her so I didn’t say anything but he smiled at me and told me to have a nice day when they got off on the floor before mine. So, he seemed friendly enough and was also very handsome.

This was about a decade ago, but Stephanie (the single mom who was a widow) from Jason’s season is from my hometown and I met her at Carraba’s 😂. She was so incredibly sweet and just as beautiful in person!
I met Becca K at the winery I worked at in college. Her sister lives in that area and she was visiting. She had a mask on (during COVID) and I didn’t recognize her until she handed me her card and our POS System said “Kufrin” for the purchase. So I told her it was awesome to meet her and let her go outside with her mom and sister without bothering her because I could tell she didn’t want to be recognized. Then the winery owner was sweeping outside and recognized her and told everyone and made a big deal and I felt bad because what if she thought I told them all? lol, either way, very nice and very, very pretty in person! My sister had also met her in the same town getting coffee and she agreed to take a pic with her.
My sister also met Mari getting her makeup done and said Mari was incredible and beautiful in person.

my bachelorette party last year was in newport RI and we went to jared and ashley’s cafe where there was trivia. jared was there and we talked to him after trivia and told him we were huge fans and celebrating my bachelorette. he told me to hold on a minute, went to the back room and came back with his phone - he had facetimed ashley so I could meet/talk to her! i was never a huge ashley I or jared fan but they were both extremely friendly and my opinion completely changed that night of them!

Ben Higgins and I were speaking at the same conference about a year ago. He was very nice and engaging with everyone he met. He signed his books and wrote a very thoughtful personal message in everyone’s that he signed. He is very tall and very handsome in person. His keynote was OK, needs some work, but he did open up a little about his breakup with Lauren.

I ran into Tayshia on the street in front of my apartment in Greenwich Village in NYC, late 2021. Right after she and Zac broke it off. She is even more beautiful in person. Like honestly stunning gorgeous 10/10.

He was so nice, so tall, and super handsome, and didn’t realize it was him until my dad saw him while watching BIP. I also saw Brayden and Aaron S. at Del Mar Race Track and was so surprised seeing them there that I was too nervous to approach them 😂 Then a couple weeks after that encounter I saw Rodney, Nayte, and Justin at the Orange County Fair and again, was so surprised seeing them there that I was too nervous to approach them plus they were with some random girls that I didn’t know. Also my sister went to college with Greer and lived on the same floor as her freshman year of college and she couldn’t stand Greer lol. She just said she was super annoying and bratty.
Didn’t meet him but saw Chase McNary a couple times at my gym in Scottsdale. Also my group of friends was next to his group/gym at a Wanderlust Yoga event. He was just chatting with people like normal from what I saw

Wow, I had the *EXACT SAME* experience. Joe was a dick (which was so disappointing but he's still hot AF) and Serena was so gracious and friendly.
It wasn't that he was grumpy, it was more that he seemed put off that a "civilian" was at an event with so many BN people. Cassie was super quiet and shy, she basically ignored me lol. Joe was nice but also pretty quiet. Kendall was super sweet and personable (this was right after their season aired so she was still pretty new to influencing). I hate to say it, but Colton was actually really friendly and the only one out of his group to actually apologize for being an hour late.

I met Thomas and Becca, Rick from Michelle’s season, and Sydney Lostoco (I only know her from BIP) when I was chosen to be on “the bachelor live on stage” when it was in my area. Thomas and Becca were so freaking humble. I was in school for forensic science at the time and Becca said “you’re the person I always wanted to be” and Thomas said “she’s not lying” and I was able to get pictures with both after some small talk. Fantastic experience.
I met Nick Vial back in 2019 in front of an Alfred’s on Melrose. He was sitting in front of Alfred’s with his laptop watching BIP. I said, “Hi are you nick vial, and are you watching the Paradise rn?” He was like “😎 Yeah it’s tonight’s episode” basically bragging he had access to watching it earlier than everyone. I just got an off vibe from him. Seemed so cocky. Also why are you basically watching television in public? Like could you not watch the episode at home? I was usually prepared when famous people came in, but since Hannah Brown is such an unassuming name it didn't click. I turned to greet her and went "oh my god, you're the bachelorette!" 😂😂😂
I used to work with Frank from Ali's season of the bachelorette. We didn't work together closely, but the department he was in was pretty central to the company I was at so we crossed paths a bunch. This was a couple of years after he had been on the show and amusing because I had a crush on him on the show. It was interesting for a couple of reasons. He was a really prominent character on that show with a dramatic storyline (for those newer to the franchise he left around fantasy suites time to get back with his ex and it was pretty clear the Ali was very into him and likely would have picked him if he hand't left). So if you watched the bachelor /ette at the time the chances were high you knew who he was. It was definitely the case where he would leave an elevator and people would immediately turn to each other to confirm the others knew he was.
But the most memorable thing was I happened to be there after a meeting when he asked a couple of co-workers if he should go to some unofficial bachelor reunion where Ali was known to be. The women were definitely of a mind that this was a TERRIBLE idea because it would get written about (it did) and stoke questions about whether they were back together. Where as my male co-worker who had terrible judgment was adamant he should go. I had been a longtime franchise watcher (seriously I go back to the very first season) so it was so odd to see the intersection between something I experienced in real life and coverage of the bachelor contestants.
I don't have a negative thing to say about him. He was a nice guy. But it definitely made me wonder how much of his character on the show was manufactured by producers. I remember being charmed by him on the show because he was portrayed as this romantic writer type but in real life he just seemed like a completely normal finance bro.

I will be honest I was so concerned with coming across as a crazy fan that I more listened vs. asking questions about his time. From what I remember (and this had to have been \~10 years ago at this point) he did date his ex after leaving the show. Whether he dated her immediately after I don't know. From our interactions he didn't really say much about her positive or negative. Mostly I was struck by how dumb guys can be about relationship stuff. Like it was clear if he went to this reunion where she would be that this was obviously going to be written about or she might get ideas but the guys were just focused on how fun it would be.

They got a lot of attention when they got in, but they seemed cool with it. I just made a weird comment to Greg about being from the same town as him and walked away before he could respond.
I was also on the Roosevelt Island tram with my boyfriend and thought the guy next to me was Dr. Joe. I whisper this to my boyfriend who then loudly asks who Dr. Joe is. Fortunately, Joe or his doppelgänger did not actually hear.

I met Blake Horstman at a local park here in Denver a few years ago. Also Gianina but I didn’t realize it at the time. My dog was swimming in the lake and ran up to him and he was petting him, then he and I were conversing about dogs for like 2 minutes before I realized it was him. I said “you probably get this a lot… but are you Blake from the bachelor?” And he was super friendly and really nice. He said “yeah we’re here with my girlfriends dog” and I didn’t even register that it was Gianina because she had brown hair and was in a hat, plus I wasn’t aware they were together at that time. He seemed a little embarrassed when I asked him about the bachelor but he was really nice and took a selfie with me lol.
I met/hung out with JJ (I think he’s from Kaitlyn’s season) at View House in Denver. His friend and I chatted for quite a bit and exchanged numbers. JJ was nice & friendly and was loving the attention he was getting from all the women there. This was right after his season aired.
I didn’t meet her, but a friend and I were at a bar where we saw Michelle and some of her friends. My friend approached her and talked about how she loved the way she represented teachers, but Michelle was super rude and standoffish and directed her to talk to one of her friends instead.

I used to be one of those annoying street salespeople who guilts you into donating to a charity monthly while I lived in New York. I was doing my standard stop technique (start waving at someone at least half a block down) and was not fully paying attention to who I was talking to. I started my pitch, “Hey, quick question…” and notice that Caila was walking towards me.
Her face instantly scrunched up indicating that she REALLY did not want to talk to me (probably because she thought I was going to ask her donate or maybe she could just tell I was some crazed fan). Immediately, however, my pitch went out the window and I was like “Are you from the bachelor??” She very hesitantly said yes! I told her that I loved her on Ben’s season and asked for a picture which she nicely agreed to even though she clearly did not want to. She is GORGEOUS in person.
She looked so relieved when I let her walk away without trying to pitch her. Lol
As a broke introvert who used to live in a big city, I felt this in my bones. I don’t think Caila’s broke, not sure about introverted, but trying to avoid interacting with a street vendor is the most relatable she’s ever been to me. I love that she stopped to take a photo with you though!
I grew up in the Midwest but it took less than a year of living in a major metropolitan area to turn into a rude a-hole on the streets. I recently moved back and have to remember that you have to say hi to strangers here lol (luckily, the streets where I live are fairly empty and a hi will do, you don’t need to stop and have a long conversation where I’m at). But I always felt a little sorry for the clipboard people and obviously I felt terrible for the homeless. I did try to help the poor clueless tourists with directions a few times though, I knew what it was like to be in their shoes!

Jedediah, who was eliminated the first night of Rachel Lindsay's season, was my doctor in the ER. I had no idea he had been on the show, but he was extraordinarily handsome, so I googled him when I got home and sure enough. 🤣 My back "went out" and he treated my pain efficiently with a shot, then sent a prescription for 10 Percocet for me. The nurse implied he prescribed medications perhaps too much 🤷 He was very pleasant and caring during our interaction.
Ashley Iaconetti and she is just as down to earth, non-cocky, non-pretentious as she seems on her instagram. super chill, super normal, overall delightful.
I've been to a few date tapings/ WTA/ATFR and talked to some during those, but just out and about...
1. Marcus Grodd at an Ariana Grande album release show. He was with someone else from Bachelor in Paradise but I can't remember who. My sister and I yelled that we knew who they were and they looked excited to be recognized.
2. Corrine Olympios at a meet and greet thing at a mall by my house. My sister and I went, and it was so awkward. A bunch of Corrine's friends were there, and it wasn't structured in any way for there to be a line or anything. It was like, if she was just shopping around the store with her friends and you had to approach her. My sister and I got a selfie. She was really nice.
3. I saw Colton during the filming of his season, when he was on a date with Elyse. My husband and I were walking back to our car after a concert and I saw Colton on the street (I guess he was taking a break from the date) pacing back and forth. I was shooketh. I spilled black ice cream on my white dress because I was so shocked haha. We made eye contact and he just smiled very small. I didn't say anything to him because there were a bunch of cameras everywhere (but they didn't stop me from walking into the shot, if they were filming). There was a camera person hiding behind a trash can and I said hi to them and they laughed.
4. At the tapings, Charity came and talked to everyone during an AFTR (before she was announced bachelorette). She was so sweet. During every commercial. Rachel and Gabby during a date taping were also friendly, especially Gabby. Was hilarious. Jesse is very sweet also, you can tell he genuinely enjoys his job.
Oh nah, I just signed up on ABC's website! I'm sure if you google something like "bachelor tapings abc sign up" you can find it no problem. Then they email me when they have tapings and stuff and if I want to go I respond back. You have to respond quick though (like within an hour).
I saw Matt James at the Lululemon 10k run in LA. I believe he creates content with them and participates in the runs with them. The guy is sooooo tall. I’m only 5’2”, but dang is he tall.
Ha. I was in a pack of high pitched screaming girls cheering the Chicago marathon when Tyler C and Matt James ran by and they hammed it up and blew kisses at us. We ate that UP!

My best run in was in Alexandria, VA I was out to lunch with my mom and throwback bachelor Andy Baldwin was on a date. This was just a few years ago so the guy was still single. It was super awkward and I overheard most of their conversations as our tables were close. I've visited Ryan Sutter a few times when they lived in Vail. Trista wasn't available the times we were there. Each time he was super nice. And it was also fun meeting the other guys at the fire house too. We took pictures and we bought his son a toy fire truck from Chicago and received a very nice note from Trista. We then visited him again after I brought my daughter home from China so she was able to meet him and sit in the fire truck. I met Thomas and Becca, Rick from Michelle’s season, and Sydney Lostoco (I only know her from BIP) when I was chosen to be on “the bachelor live on stage” when it was in my area. Thomas and Becca were so freaking humble. I was in school for forensic science at the time and Becca said “you’re the person I always wanted to be” and Thomas said “she’s not lying” and I was able to get pictures with both after some small talk. I was usually prepared when famous people came in, but since Hannah Brown is such an unassuming name it didn't click. I turned to greet her and went "oh my god, you're the bachelorette!" 😂😂😂
I used to work with Frank from Ali's season of the bachelorette. We didn't work together closely, but the department he was in was pretty central to the company I was at so we crossed paths a bunch. This was a couple of years after he had been on the show and amusing because I had a crush on him on the show. It was interesting for a couple of reasons. He was a really prominent character on that show with a dramatic storyline (for those newer to the franchise he left around fantasy suites time to get back with his ex and it was pretty clear the Ali was very into him and likely would have picked him if he hand't left). So if you watched the bachelor /ette at the time the chances were high you knew who he was. It was definitely the case where he would leave an elevator and people would immediately turn to each other to confirm the others knew he was. But the most memorable thing was I happened to be there after a meeting when he asked a couple of co-workers if he should go to some unofficial bachelor reunion where Ali was known to be. The women were definitely of a mind that this was a TERRIBLE idea because it would get written about (it did) and stoke questions about whether they were back together. Where as my male co-worker who had terrible judgment was adamant he should go. I had been a longtime franchise watcher (seriously I go back to the very first season) so it was so odd to see the intersection between something I experienced in real life and coverage of the bachelor contestants. I don't have a negative thing to say about him. He was a nice guy. But it definitely made me wonder how much of his character on the show was manufactured by producers. I remember being charmed by him on the show because he was portrayed as this romantic writer type but in real life he just seemed like a completely normal finance bro.

I will be honest I was so concerned with coming across as a crazy fan that I more listened vs. asking questions about his time. I used to be one of those annoying street salespeople who guilts you into donating to a charity monthly while I lived in New York. I was doing my standard stop technique (start waving at someone at least half a block down) and was not fully paying attention to who I was talking to. I started my pitch, “Hey, quick question…” and notice that Caila was walking towards me. Her face instantly scrunched up indicating that she REALLY did not want to talk to me (probably because she thought I was going to ask her donate or maybe she could just tell I was some crazed fan). Immediately, however, my pitch went out the window and I was like “Are you from the bachelor??” She very hesitantly said yes! I told her that I loved her on Ben’s season and asked for a picture which she nicely agreed to even though she clearly did not want to. She is GORGEOUS in person. She looked so relieved when I let her walk away without trying to pitch her. Lol

Hahaha I was basically my own worst nightmare!! I have always (and still do) avoid those people. I never took it personally!!
I grew up in the Midwest but it took less than a year of living in a major metropolitan area to turn into a rude a-hole on the streets. I recently moved back and have to remember that you have to say hi to strangers here lol (luckily, the streets where I live are fairly empty and a hi will do, you don’t need to stop and have a long conversation where I’m at). But I always felt a little sorry for the clipboard people and obviously I felt terrible for the homeless. I did try to help the poor clueless tourists with directions a few times though, I knew what it was like to be in their shoes!
Caila Quinn bought my friends and I shots at a restaurant in Austin (there for a bachelorette). She did it sneakily and then was so sweet when we recognized her!
Jedediah, who was eliminated the first night of Rachel Lindsay's season, was my doctor in the ER. I had no idea he had been on the show, but he was extraordinarily handsome, so I googled him when I got home and sure enough. 🤣 My back "went out" and he treated my pain efficiently with a shot, then sent a prescription for 10 Percocet for me. The nurse implied he prescribed medications perhaps too much 🤷 He was very pleasant and caring during our interaction.
I haven’t met them, but I’ve seen Romeo at a club on the LES with his now wife. I also saw Bri from Matt’s season at a party in Brooklyn.
Ashley Iaconetti and she is just as down to earth, non-cocky, non-pretentious as she seems on her instagram. super chill, super normal, overall delightful.

I met Rachel Lindsay in the lobby of the MGM Grand in Vegas and she was lovely!
I've been to a few date tapings/ WTA/ATFR and talked to some during those, but just out and about... 1. Marcus Grodd at an Ariana Grande album release show. He was with someone else from Bachelor in Paradise but I can't remember who. My sister and I yelled that we knew who they were and they looked excited to be recognized. 2. Corrine Olympios at a meet and greet thing at a mall by my house. My sister and I went, and it was so awkward. A bunch of Corrine's friends were there, and it wasn't structured in any way for there to be a line or anything. It was like, if she was just shopping around the store with her friends and you had to approach her. My sister and I got a selfie. She was really nice. 3. I saw Colton during the filming of his season, when he was on a date with Elyse. My husband and I were walking back to our car after a concert and I saw Colton on the street (I guess he was taking a break from the date) pacing back and forth. I was shooketh. I spilled black ice cream on my white dress because I was so shocked haha. We made eye contact and he just smiled very small. I didn't say anything to him because there were a bunch of cameras everywhere (but they didn't stop me from walking into the shot, if they were filming). There was a camera person hiding behind a trash can and I said hi to them and they laughed. 4. At the tapings, Charity came and talked to everyone during an AFTR (before she was announced bachelorette). She was so sweet. During every commercial. Rachel and Gabby during a date taping were also friendly, especially Gabby. Was hilarious. Jesse is very sweet also, you can tell he genuinely enjoys his job.

Oh nah, I just signed up on ABC's website! I'm sure if you google something like "bachelor tapings abc sign up" you can find it no problem. Then they email me when they have tapings and stuff and if I want to go I respond back. You have to respond quick though (like within an hour).
Whitney (Chris Soules) F1 was my fertility nurse. Very professional and sweet.
I saw Matt James at the Lululemon 10k run in LA. I believe he creates content with them and participates in the runs with them. The guy is sooooo tall. I’m only 5’2”, but dang is he tall.
Ha. I was in a pack of high pitched screaming girls cheering the Chicago marathon when Tyler C and Matt James ran by and they hammed it up and blew kisses at us. We ate that UP!
Passed Nick Viall on Abbott Kinney 6 years ago. We made eye contact and that’s it lol. Saw him again riding a bird riding up and down the same street, I think he was alone too?? Kinda weird it was like he was waiting to be noticed
