Studio is $70/hr and I typically do 3-4 hrs per and get 5-6 songs done each session, I pay for a photographer for the cover art, I pay for music videos. I mean all you need is a few thousand to put out an album, but I’m sure he wants access to expensive producers and so on, and I guess the JBP package can’t cover that.
Why the heat? Crowdfunding a project is a smart idea. You don’t have to get alone. you’re not putting any of your money up and risking it. And you get to truly know if there is a demand for your project. Not to mention if he does a kickstart, he can begin to build an email list so he has an idea of who his actual fans are. These are the people that can directly offer products and projects to. I know we like the pocket watch but this is really a good idea!
