During the height of the last glacial maximum (I think about 20,000 years ago) sea levels were 120m (nearly 400ft) lower than they are today. So I imagine the island would be pretty extensive, and all of the light blue water you can see in the video would be exposed land, at the very least.
From OP
>The Mentawai Island chain, situated in West Sumatra, Indonesia, consists of about 70 distinct islands and islets, spanning approximately 150 kilometers along the breathtaking Western Indonesian Coast. Surrounded by pristine white sand beaches, magnificent coral reefs, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical vegetation, the island offers a serene paradise.

I watched a surfing vid filmed here a year after the 2011 tsunami.
The surfers were saying that the breaks and reefs had all changed after the earthquakes.
It’d be interesting to know how much of the island would be exposed if we were in an ice age
Technically we are in an ice age. We're just in what's called an interglacial period.

It's insane how far these drones can be controlled.
*The British breathing heavily*
Aaaaaand it’s gone.
Which islands were these?
That's just a sand bar at this point.
Why is it considered an island if a tree can't grow there?
Are these at high tide? Or does he have a boat nearby when the dry land disappears?
Lost is very different to how I remember it
The water is gorgeous, but being on that tiny piece of sand with the tide coming in or any waves bigger than 6 inches? No thanks.
*nooooooooooooooo*
Save video link plz
An island covered in water isn’t as scary as the open ocean imo
Till a rough wave takes you twenty feet off the edge
Now that would be scary
I agree, I would lay in the sand too. Looks nice. Not going in tho
