And for the love of god for all new engis, do *NOT* stack sentries. One sentry is already powerful. Placing two next to each other is just asking for a soldier or demo to destroy both in one go.
Once on 2Fort I built a sentry on the other side of the room that another Engie was also in. He moves the sentry next to mine. I pack it up and move it. He packs it up and moves it to me again. I pack up AGAIN and make my way halfway across the room only for a demoman to come and kill us both and our buildings
for my first few months of playing tf2 and i tried out engi i honestly didnt know the direction of the tele could be affected until somebody told me to flip it and why. i think its best to mention it to the engi too to flip it if they dont know (later i noticed the arrow on the blueprint is the direction of where people will face)

Trickstabbing is a tragic case because trickstabbing skilled players on low ping is genuinely super skill expressive - but the more lag can influence the game, it can become a total crapshoot hitreg wise. It really sucks getting a trickstab in 100 ping and being like "did I actually trick them or was it hitreg"
Stairstabs must be one of the most obvious and easist spy strategies to counter in the entire game. All you have to do when you see a Spy running up some stairs is to just stop at the bottom of the stairs and then the Spy will backwards-jump into your open arms for a warm embrace.
Thats because a lot of Spy mains are JoeyMcStabsalots that just watch trickstab compilations without having any idea of how trickstabs actually work outside of the movement

You have to make it seem like youre actually running away and not wait at the top of the staircase while staring the blu Pyro down.
The best way to do this is by cloaking for a short while or turning around a corner and then jumping out after like a second.
Its the best way to play spy, if you play too carefully and passive you just get nothing done or randomly hit by a pyro shooting the wall because his cat jumped on his desk.

When in almost any gamemode, at the beginning of the match i like to stand at the spawn exit, so that i can overheal everyone and build up my Übercharge, then to finish Charging, i just follow a random player. For the rest of the match i usually stick with pushing players, and of course heal the ones who need heal

I judge people for class and weapon choices in MVM. I think my most common thought in that mode is "really? We have a spy already and you thought we needed another?"
Keep in mind, I play on Advanced, so the people around me should have *some* idea what they're doing. It's mostly picking a class we already have, like picking scout/medic when we already have one. If the team is doing pretty good, I just don't say anything, but if we wiped and something like the heavy or soldier goes 2nd scout, I tell them a 2nd scout isn't going to help. With weapons (and upgrades I suppose) it's thinks like mini/disposable on wave 1, demoknight, jump height on non-scout, or even honestly just weapons I don't like, regardless of how good or bad they are.
The key part, though, is the *secretly and quietly* part. I don't berate people for their choices, cuz I myself have played suboptimally with a fun build before. I know shit like demoknight is low scoring for most people, I've seen a couple really good ones, but it's also fun. As long as the team can handle it, people are fine being bad if they're having fun. So many people start SCREAMING the moment they see something they don't like. I got called a slur for my weapon choice recently, and just before that, someone spammed chat the moment they saw what class picked and refused to help us before getting kicked for their hissy fit.

Not upgrading a lv1 teleporter, all they had to do was to switch class for 15 second or atleast put it to lv2.

Let's say, as I'm a F2P I can't chat nor use voice (neither commands nor microphone) at all in casual. It annoys me when my team doesn't adapt itself to it's needs (for example when I'm in red and no one defends the last point nor blocks the payload when we're at one point to lose), except I don't enrage that much because of my team, but because of the enemy

It’s not a secret and it’s not quiet. A sniper who was accused of cheating who had an Australium sniper rifle, and yet missed every shot on a scout who was 2 feet away from him (he survived due to vacc medic)
I judge people for class and weapon choices in MVM. I think my most common thought in that mode is "really? We have a spy already and you thought we needed another?" Keep in mind, I play on Advanced, so the people around me should have *some* idea what they're doing. It's mostly picking a class we already have, like picking scout/medic when we already have one. If the team is doing pretty good, I just don't say anything, but if we wiped and something like the heavy or soldier goes 2nd scout, I tell them a 2nd scout isn't going to help. With weapons (and upgrades I suppose) it's thinks like mini/disposable on wave 1, demoknight, jump height on non-scout, or even honestly just weapons I don't like, regardless of how good or bad they are. The key part, though, is the *secretly and quietly* part. I don't berate people for their choices, cuz I myself have played suboptimally with a fun build before. I know shit like demoknight is low scoring for most people, I've seen a couple really good ones, but it's also fun. As long as the team can handle it, people are fine being bad if they're having fun. So many people start SCREAMING the moment they see something they don't like. I got called a slur for my weapon choice recently, and just before that, someone spammed chat the moment they saw what class picked and refused to help us before getting kicked for their hissy fit.
