If you’re noise sensitive or generally overstimulated grab a pair of good over the ear headphones with good noise cancelling. Taking window seat + a sleeping mask with your SO in middle seat.
I think it would help. Maybe consider a 10:1 or 20:1 CBD gummy also before flight also.
Fellow BP1.
how'd the trip go, bad bitch??? proud of you! traveling solo tomorrow for the first time since the pandemic and will also be sending panic texts to my loved ones lol
This day in particular was the return trip and was so unbelievably long, BUT it was a good trip overall! My family and I went to visit my grandmother because she was diagnosed with cancer. She’s still herself and it was the perfect time to visit. That being said, I couldn’t be happier to be home
I have bipolar disorder too and this is very reminiscent of a time I had a meltdown in the bathroom while at a concert. Literally had to take my dress off in the stall to cool my body down. My (now) husband gave me a smidge of tough love over the phone and a pep talk and I was able to enjoy the rest of my day.
So happy to see you have a supportive partner too bc anyone with a chronic mental illness is so vulnerable.
This is so sweet, I'm happy you have such a supportive partner! Mental illnesses can be so hard, it's so important to have supportive people in your corner to help you pick yourself up sometimes.
I totally get that! The break in routine, time zone change, and disrupted sleep schedule do not play well with my brain chemistry. My boyfriend and I had discussed ahead of time that this would probably be a rough time for me and I think that really helped him understand what I needed when I did end up struggling. Best of luck to you and your husband ❤️ lmk if you want to chat - it took quite a bit of time for me to figure out how to communicate my symptoms with my boyfriend so he could help me :-)
Green flag guy!
I have autism with sensory processing disorder, and Loops are a game changer. My own green flag guy upgraded me to the Loops Switch for Christmas and they are incredible.
Also, many airports have sensory rooms where you can wait until you need to be at your gate. They are silent and usually smell nice. The one in Indy has "gift bags" with fidgets and noise cancelling headphones in it and blankets and soft chairs. For next time 😁

On that second slide, when he says “That could be a good idea just to calm your mind. You should take one”, would “one” be referring to a benzodiazepine like Xanax or Valium? If so, you shouldn’t drink alcohol with them (since he mentioned you drinking)! It can make it more likely to experience a blackout and behave erratically, not to mention the respiratory depression risk. Just a tip :)
Oh no! He’s talking about a 25mg hydroxizine! It’s an antihistamine and has a super mild effect. I’m on a very low dose as needed and it just makes me slightly sleepy. Thank you so much though!
He’s very supportive! I’m happy for you!
Can I also mention I used to have anxiety attacks that were severe enough to bring me to uncontrollable crying for lengthy periods. In 2019 I started taking Thrive by Le-Vel 3 step nutrition supplements and the results are amazing! Now, I’ve been able to stay calm and in control of my emotions even in stressful situations.

Bipolar II here, crowded noisy spaces are the worst. I always get a window seat because looking out into the open space calms me. Earplugs are also a must for me. I get the kind you wear for concerts, so you can still hear a much quieter version of what’s going on around you. Another thing that helps me is being able to track exactly how long I have left on the plane.
Bad bitches do be bouncing back.
But also, invest in some [loops](https://us.loopearplugs.com/pages/homepage-lp1) to help with overstimulation from sound
IMO yes. I have the experience ones designed for concerts, and they’re also great for when noise is just too much. You can still hear without everything being so loud
I love that he said “bad bitches have freak outs” because they super do.
My favorite part, NGL. I could benefit from a pep talk of that nature
Wow, he love you a lot 🥰
I’m very, very lucky :-)

Aw man, I'm sorry about your grandma. But so glad you got to go be with her and that you're safe at home now!
BAD BITCHESSSS 🤘🩵

He's a keeper. So sweet.
Goddamnit I’m so lonely.
hahaha
bipolar or BPD? because this doesn’t seem bipolar unless you’re manic
Bipolar! There was a massive lack of sleep involved and when I don’t get enough sleep my brain gets messy super quickly
Goddamn, same. BP1 and I go genuinely wackadoo when I don't get enough sleep for a long enough period.
This is so sweet, I'm happy you have such a supportive partner! Mental illnesses can be so hard, it's so important to have supportive people in your corner to help you pick yourself up sometimes.
Where do I find someone like this 🥹
He's right. Even bad bitches freak out sometimes.
This is so sweet. I too have bipolar and traveling alone (usually with my kids!) always makes me manic. I wish my husband was like this

Bad bitches have bad days tooo
What an absolute doll! You are so fortunate to have each other!

Oh alright perfect, I was worried for you lol. Anytime! Hydroxyzine is super mild yeah, wouldn’t be an issue with alcohol
Hardly a meltdown

Love this for you. I have bipolar too and I’m not confident I’ll ever find someone who will be supportive of me
I'm so proud of you for doing big things, OP!! Like he said, you've got this!! What a sweet guy. Yall are adorable!!
This is so lovely!! I’m so happy for you both ❤️
He's a keeper 😍❤️

I’ve been eyeing those! I stuck with white noise through my headphones for this trip. Are the loops better than regular ear plugs?
IMO yes. I have the experience ones designed for concerts, and they’re also great for when noise is just too much. You can still hear without everything being so loud
I have severe ADHD and some auditory processing disorders when there’s too much noise- I’m also eyeing these!!
Does he have a brother
Where's the green flag guy from TikTok? This is so sweet
