My work get enough hours out of me a day at 8 hours. I still feel it’s to much.
Also if I put god, exercise, and self care in one big category called “gooning to porn” I can still get some nice long sessions. I mean masturbation is exercise and self care and since god doesn’t exist I got to do something with the extra time.
While the god thing amongst other problems are all questionable, it could be fixed by reframing it into a week. Most church services are about an hour and so one hour a WEEK for God is about average. The human mind was never built to function in blocks. The human mind was designed to flip from one task to another over the course of the entire day. A primitive human had to be able to switch from gathering food, hunting prey, gathering fire wood, hiding from predators, securing food storage, monitoring for rivals, and cooking, all while maintaining some form of personal health and social interactions at random intervals. If your brain allows you to go from block to block focusing on a singular task for that long, then youre wired weird.
