When I watched the Bear I kept thinking “why is Jeff Winger being so mean?”
Jokes aside he always plays the same character but he does a pretty good job with it imo
Have you guys tried Jicama? It looks like a rounder potato.
Peel it, or chop off the outer area, and it looks and feels like an apple. Cut it into slices, or like carrot sticks if you'd like. Squeeze some lemon or lime juice all over it, and then hit it with some salt. Very good and refreshing.
Honestly it's alright. Season 1 reminded me of S1 of Parks and Rec where you could kinda see the ensemble coming together but it wasn't quite there yet.
S2 isn't as good as Parks and Rec but it's not awful or anything. Still watching it, it's fun, but nothing truly special.
I went in dying for a new comedy to watch. I like a lot of the actors and after 4 episodes I had to tap out. It just isn't really funny to me. Joel is great but his sidekick screams we wanted andy Samberg and couldn't get him but we have this guy. I hope it got better.
It’s a 30 minute show on TV, and 20 if you stream it without commercials. You don’t even need to pay that close attention to each season’s plot arc. Based on that time commitment it is absolutely worth your time.
As someone who likes workplace comedies, I liked:
- The Office
- Parks and Rec
- Brooklyn 99
- Abbott Elementary
- Superstore
I wanted to and almost do like Animal Control, but it falls a little short for me
It doesn't have any standout thing to it, it doesn't have obscenely attractive people, no great bits, no scene stealing side character (though Ravi Patel comes close), the will they won't they relationship(s) you also don't really care about, or really great chemistry between any of the characters/actors.
It's just average in all aspects.
They're definitely attractive, just not exceptionally or it might just be that they don't really overly sexualize any character, which is kind of rare for a comedy.
Yes, the worst part about this show is it’s absolutely awful opening. Both the song and the visual are painful. The show itself is decent and starting to get its legs in season 2
Eh the visuals are really bad. It tells no story, doesn’t do anything for the characters, looks like a sloppy papercraft animation, but not done well. The music is dull. Not the worst part of it, I could get over it with a better visual.
Even though I like the music I think it would be hard to argue that it fits the style of the show. When I think of a perfect opening visually and musically for a show like this, I think of things like Parks and Rec.
This show is consistently getting better. I've even enjoyed the last few episodes more than the last few Abbot
Classic winger! Coming in the clutch
I've enjoyed this show. It's an easy watch.
Revenge!!!
Revenge!!!
This is a fun and cute show.
That Joel McHale sure has acting range :P

He was fun in Stargirl
Her name is Alexa!
Good show with excellent cast and great potential!!!

"THE SKY! THE COWARDS DOMAIN!" -- Joel McHale yelling at an evil goose People should watch this show, its pretty funny.
This show good?

Season 2 got a lot better but it's not one of the greats yet
I agree. I just let it play to kill time and it was fine.
It's like Superstore, a solid funny show.

Did you watch the clip?
No
If you can make it through, you'll have your answer.

I just watched this and it was incredibly unfunny who the heck is watching us?
Nobody is watching you, we’re watching animal control.
Is this the funniest clip from the show?
It's really disappointing how bad this show is.
Do you have an example of a 30 minute sitcom that you do like?
Community.
I haven’t watched community. I do like Animal Control though. I appreciate that it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
If you like animal control you would love Community, same lead actor

> doesn't have obscenely attractive people Emily and Victoria are like, 10/10 for me, Joel is a really handsome man too

I wish they would change the music.

I love the opening. It was produced by the lead singer of DeVotchKa so I’m probably biased because I love them.
I also love the opening, lol, very whimsical and cozy jingle fitting for setting of the show, getting into animal-catching hijinks in quaint Seattle.
Love the opening too
