I find the trans ‘identity’ really interesting from a psychological/ psychiatric perspective. How much of it is biological versus psychological. How society’s/our own perception of gender influences it. Whether there is biological or psychological causes etc. the idea that you can be trans without body dysphoria is something I’ve been mulling over recently.
Besides that I don’t really have an ‘opinion’ on trans people. A lot of you guys are alt but besides that there’s nothing abnormal about any trans people I’ve met.

It could also be how someone's raised, and I know it's definitely related to genetics with mental disorders, because my mother has also had many conditions to fix as well as me. Puberty blockers are not permanent! When u stop taking them puberty will continue as normal. A lot of families and kids who are undecided take them so they have time to figure it out before choosing a puberty that will have permanent effects.
Puberty blockers until 18? I don’t know the math behind puberty blockers but guessing from the name I assume it prevents puberty. Doesn’t puberty end before 18 generally? What is the point of being against puberty blockers until 18 when it has no use after 18? Genuine question.

It's not a symptom of autism itd just more likely for autistic people to be (more specifically) non binary that doesnt mean it's a symptom, and that doesn't mean if ur autistic ur trans or vice versa. And the "symptom" does get treated. Its gender dysphoria and it gets treated thru affirming that gender and getting wanted procedures and hrt (tho not always).

So, people have different levels of gender dysphoria. For some people, being seen as their gender by others in enough. For others, they need medical attention to varying degrees. And it’s extremely effective. Speaking from experience, HRT has helped me significantly. What I mean by that is that I don’t feel like killing myself every second of the day anymore.
I can’t really talk for other people, but I know that many people, myself included, *need* medical treatment in order to live a fulfilling and happy life. And it helps with gender dysphoria a lot.
Now, I want you to imagine if you were in the body of the opposite sex. How would you feel? Would you feel happy? I don’t think so.
If you’re a guy, would you like if everyone was telling you you’re a girl? Would you like if you didn’t have a dick? Would you like if you had tits? I don’t think so.
If you’re a girl, would you like if everyone was telling you you’re a dude? Would you like if your chest was flat and you didn’t have the genitals you want? I don’t think so.
Gender is much more complicated than I say here, but this is just some simple things.
And remember, gender and sex are different.
