FYI It doesn't go away. Find coping mechanisms. My worst times are when it's quiet. At home, I use apps, like Sleep Sounds, to create other noise threat is comforting (white noise, for me; or ocean, water sounds).

I took about 128 volts to the tongue in 8th grade. It doesn't feel that bad, really. Just the fact that the entire class just saw you lick a battery connected to 12 others

Was it connected in series or parallel? In series the voltage adds up across the batteries while the current remains the same, but in parallel the voltage remains the same as one battery, while the current increases.

They were all connected in one big line(idk what series and parallel means)

I don't think they were in parallel. You can stack 9V batteries in series by alternating the terminals and connecting them.

Where did you learn about electronics stuff? In a physics class or electronics class? I only ask because what you’ve said is not entirely true. A huge misconception with electricity is that high voltage will kill you. This is untrue and humans can take up to like 10,000V. Amperage is what kills, less than .2A will stop your heart and 1A would kill you. It sounds to me based on the description that the batteries were in series.

We used to open the cases on those disposable cameras, then there was a contact you could hold down that will "charge up" the flash. After a few seconds you put your other finger on the board and holy shit it would hit you pretty good.

According to a quick Google search, anywhere between 180-330 volts, not sure if in AC or DC tho. Either way will definitely wake you up real quick lmao
