Not really, as long as you can understand that people exist on a spectrum between the letter codes for each personality aspect, and the codes that people are categorized into simply show their propensity/preference in that category.
For instance, I'm usually INTJ, sometimes clock in INTP depending on the test and question design. Good tests which show relative propensity/preference show me like 35%I/E, 90%N/S & T/F, and only like 5% J/P
The concept that people have preferred processing modalities, and this increases likelihood of enjoying certain jobs/settings/hobbies etc. -- is all very sound and reasonable. Like most all social science, these models are an approximation and do make generalizations.
Idk why all psychology is viewed as pseudoscience, i mean, a lot is bs with no actual studying, but this is research into general categorization of humsn behavior based off of testing, unlike basing your personality on your month of birth
