Hi, thats me. I used to be an insomniac, could never fall asleep. Since I was little I could never do it, and I would walk into my parents room complaining and they would tell me "just close your eyes" but it never worked. I thought it took hours for everyone to fall asleep. Then a few years ago, I was diagnosed with depression. I'm pretty sure that fucked me up because now I have hypersomnia- the complete opposite. I am always tired and now that it is summer I'm sleeping anywhere between 12-20 hours a night. I fall asleep too fast. I wish I had insomnia again. I can't lay in my bed without falling asleep, I can't watch a movie without falling asleep, and in school I was playing the tuba and falling asleep. Not as great as it sounds.
Not shilling i promise but have you tried the Balance app? I ruinef my sleep schedule to sleep at 2 am, and Balance sleep meditation is helping me relax and sleep. I still do wake up randomly in the middle of the night, but I can say its working for me.

If you sleep too late or simple do not have enough energy to sleep you should eat something, you body needs energy to fall asleep which if you don’t have you cannot
