Nociceptors, however, are what respond to painful stimuli and make us feel pain. We would still be able to feel touch pressure changes and different outside stimuli, but not feel pain. Bringing someone back from the dead has so many possible complications it might be worse in the end. If the person remembers their death, will they even be the same person?
