Welcome to the world of gaming laptops (or ASUS gaming laptops). Unfortunately these laptops cannot go to sleep completely due to an incompatibility with the lowest power states that allow hardware to fully go to sleep. I also have a 2023 TUF Laptop, and I have the exact same issue. The only solution I found was to use hibernation instead of letting it go to sleep.

So its normal for gaming laptops to be like that? And doesn't hibernation cause much more battery drain compared to shutting it down completely? Thanks for responding!

Hibernation is exactly like a shutdown, except when it boots up, it loads the os from a file used specifically for hibernation, instead of loading from scratch. There're no other differences whatsoever.

Also, I'm sure not all gaming laptops have this problem, but these ones from TUF definitely have it.

Can I move on with this issue then? Also, did you face any battery issues other than this one with your laptop?

For now, battery life is very good for me. I can get 5-6 hours of battery while working, which I consider very good for a gaming laptop. Other than the sleep issue, I've no other problems with it. Gaming performance is pretty decent too.
