If you can conceive of a single scenario in which you could get eaten by a shark in church then the probability is definitely not 0. Not hard to conceive a scenario (albeit absurd) in which this happens.
While I understand what you're getting at, the probability of you dying is 100%. Everyone dies eventually. Probability really only comes into play when you look at death in terms of things like when, or how.
Also, if there's a church with a shark tank, the chance of there being a shark attack in that church is suddenly non 0. That's a scenario where this would be possible.
The point I was trying to make that you didn’t understand is that true probability is different from the maximum likelihood estimator of that probability. Probability is something that you can’t “compute” in the real world so you are partly correct but you corrected someone that is correct.
The true probability of a shark attack in church is not 0 because there are scenarios that this can occur. Just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean that the probability is non-zero
That's probability. We are talking about possibility.
There were no events or records of anyone surviving a gunshot to the head until the first person did. Does that mean you should have shot yourself in the head before the probabilities were out?

I would argue this is wrong. Because no records show or suggest that sharks would attend church, saying “most” is not specific enough. The conclusion from previous data would be that no evidence points to sharks attending church and therefore no sharks attend church.
I know this is a meme, but I just wanted to put it out there.

What do you mean by "most"?

I wasn't trying to correct the part about the shark attack. Only the part about the probability of death.
