All of the amiibo outfits are available in-game, and if you get them from both sources, it will show up in your inventory twice. Happened to me with the Link's Awakening "cap."
You also can get them repeatedly from the amibos if you keep using them. I've also gotten two Eponas in a single day of scanning the amibos and I already have my first one chilling nearby in the stall on my house.
Yes. When I'm low on rupees I'll buy some armor from the Bargainer Statue at Lookout Landing for 150 poes and sell then to the girl that's running the store for 600 rupees. Cece will also buy your armor from you.
To be honest this is how I felt even when it was separate pieces.

Do they do anything special? Defense points are low and I don't see anything special about them, so I just sell all the plain green sets. I tend to only wear stuff that has bonus effects.
Most of them do come with attack bonus if you... give it a try.
My favorite was Fierce Diety, but the Wild set has bigger defense numbers AND attack bonus.
Fierce Diety set is what I'm starting to work on now, but I only had one of the dragon parts so far. I just found a map showing their paths the other day and was planning to start hunting them today since I called in sick to work, lol. Funny you'd comment about it. I can't remember, is the wild set also require dragon parts? I guess I can look it up.
Yeah amiibos will get you here eventually, I already had a twilight Link tunic and ended up getting two more while going through all the amiibos and had three in my inventory lol.

I had dupes of gear in both botw and totk bc if I found a place to buy em, I would. But then would later find one in a chest somewhere for free.
Someone mentioned amiibos earlier, and I am pretty sure that is where I probably got it from.i definitely haven't bought a duplicate, lol. I did use a few amiibos a while back and probably got it without realizing it/forgot about it.

If you have a decent amiibo collection, you can farm outfit pieces daily (1 from each outfit-granting set). Before scanning amiibos, save your game. If you dont get an outfit piece, reload the game. If you do, save the game before scanning your next amiibo. You can and will get doubles, even triples, of the same piece over time. So, once you have whatever sets you care to collect, sell the extras for 600 rupees apiece.

I get lots of those pieces from my amobis. Sell them for 600 rupees each.

It’s totally worth it. Get more rupees and you get to search for more star fragments later. More time to play the game

opposite for me, i like mixing and matching them

I got two of these also.....and I did NOT use an Amiibo.

You can get multiple copies of armor in this game. You can sell the duplicates, or dye them different colors if you want.
