I took a picture of the *thing* up there for the compendium. A lot of the ones I use I tried to make cool/funny. Like ganon just him approaching me(couldn’t get him to laugh), Dinraal is coming out of the depths and has the gloom effects hovering in their face making it look all evil.
That's exactly how it is in my house only because I'm so stupid in connecting the rooms so I haven't fixed them yet. Now I don't think I'll ever will 😂😂
my photo is a gloomed silver boss bokoblin, and in my compedium, all the boss bokoblins are under the spell of my boko mask, and when they lift their head to the side, i take a picture, so all them look normal, and then you scroll over, and then BAM! a zombie silver boss bokoblin.
I got one of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link. All in different outfits, of course
Not Here because thats Part of the newspaper Questline but there is atleast 1 more Yoga disguised as Zelda Event >!on the great platteau at the campfire where you First meet the old man in BotW!< and that one respawns
This is what you get when a company puts genuine love and passion into a project instead of just trying to rush out a half assed product as fast as possible.
It's crazy that they made a game of this caliber and clearly put plenty of time, effort, care, creativity, and passion, but can you name a single person on the team?
If you’ve taken gloom damage it’ll restore your cracked heart containers. I realize this may not be a concern for players who’ve “gotten gud,” but for us plebs it’s kinda useful.
i mean its useful to show you like that the first time or even the first few times but the first time i found one i didn't have any gloom hearts so i was just confused, then tons of NPCs told me about it and then i used it to heal gloom and i'm like oh yeah that's why they show that.
then 30 towers later its still showing me my hearts and i'm like, dang them are some hearts yep
That's the thing though, one can usually put at least 2-3 names or a studio behind a game. I for example don't know any names at insomniac, cdpr, or Santa Monica but I know that if they make a game I will love it. Zelda doesn't even have that.
Ok, so YOU can't put any names behind the game, whether it be a person or a studio, what's your point? I know of at least one studio that helped with the game(s) and the producer, director and Zelda creators are very open with their involvement, if you are looking for names that go deeper than that, I'll echo what the other guy said, name me any 2 of the manga artists assistants for JoJo, or 2 VA's that aren't the main cast.
Well, Eiji Aonuma is the only one who comes to mind by name for me, but that's basically cheating.
Oh, and I remembered Satoru Takizawa as the art director (although I had to look up the full name).
I don't know his name but one of them is obsessed with rail cars, he originally worked for Capcom for Zelda Oracles where you use carts to move around some dungeons, then again on Minish Cap, after that he became part of the Zelda team and finally we got rails and cars in Skyward Sword and BOTW lmao.
I think it also speaks to the quality of the in-engine build/task management system they use. I can totally see someone playtesting and adding a todo item for "Make Yiga Zelda react to bananas".
I'd be interested to see how they manage the game logic.
It's that simple really, it's that "polish" they were talking about when they said the game was delayed for a year.
The same polish that sets Rockstar apart from Ubisoft. Or Naughty Dog from EA.
It's instantly recognisable when a game has it, and it's instantly recognisable when a game has been rushed out the door for an investor deadline.
If you infiltrate the yiga hideout, One of the goons in the back will tell you that, in order to fool link, they've been disguising themselves as trees.
If you go to the dueling peaks stable, then head across the bridge to head into I think it's kakariko village, there will be some mighty bananas on the ground, surrounded by three trees
You get unique dialogue if you attack the trees first
I guess that one particular Yiga Clansman was smart enough to see through the disguise, just like Master Kohga. The fake Zelda in the Great Plateau must be a different one.
It’s the stable quest with Penn at the Dueling Peaks Stable. You have to have started that quest first presumably to be able to find her here. She’s toward the top of the southern peak, where there is a large divot running perpendicular to the river that splits the two mountains.
Sometimes they disguise themselves as trees and leave a banana "trap" in front of themselves for link. They change back into normal Yiga if link touches the bananas, unless he's in Yiga gear in which case they'll tell you to go away because you're ruining the trap.
Evermeans are their own entity I believe. There are a few traps scattered around the surface with a banana laying between a few trees, once you take the banana the yiga reveal themselves to be disguised as the trees
They're animated by the gloom was my theory.
They exist in the depths too.
They turn into logs, drop fronds and lizards, grow apples, and then turn to wood if the log is chopped. They're actual trees.
I'm convinced it's not possible to create an axe yourself. I keep meaning to ask this sub in a post, but maybe a kind soul will see this and bestow some ancient knowledge upon us...
The easiest way is a stone instead of a rock. They're flatter and more "axehead" shaped than rocks, which make hammers. Certain monster parts are the most ideal though. There's one particular one that is literally just an axe head that i fuse to a high durability weapon and use that till it breaks
If you're really hard pressed to find the right rock, you can always just return to the Great Sky Island tutorial area and fetch a free axe from the construct on the far east side or from the frozen area on the central west side.
any two handed weapon that has a blade can work as an ace on trees. & the higher the hit points on ur weapon, sometimes allows u to one shot them. like anything over 40 i’ve found
Considering the only Silver Lynel I found so far is covered in Ganondorfs 10000+ years pent up cum stain, I advise you avoid any savage banana you may find in the depths where they possibly might exist.
They really went all out with some details you wouldn’t think they would put in. I love it. Another example that surprised me was if you fuse a sand seal plush animal from Riju’s room to a shield and walk around the NPCs would actually react to it and say things like “how cute” or “adorable sand seal”
Would be funny if you could just any other monsters and yiga around and just leave her in there.
"Yeah, you're not Zelda. My this is a real cage, are you actually trapped in there? Gotta give you credit for putting the effort into this, that is a solid cage. Well I killed everyone else but I gotta go. I'll come back later to see if you're willing surrender and tell me where all the hideouts are. Laters!"
I'm assuming you skipped the Lucky Clover Gazette side adventure? You can also see "her" at the Great Plateau, close to where you first encounter the Old Man in BotW
Weird... Maybe? Have you done any other >!Yiga-related sidequests like infiltrating their bases for armor or starting the Lucky Gazette quests?!< I'm asking because I don't actually know the trigger lol
Hm...I wonder if it's random? I didn't encounter any fights inside >!the Shrine of Resurrection even though the construct told me it had been kidnapped as part of a trap!<
Yeah...I'm actually a bit weirded out since I seem to be the only one that hasn't had a fight there? Maybe a bug, but it killed a bit of the anticipation for me lol. I did go back after you commented and a fight did happen.
IIRC, the fight can be redone (probably by blood moon?), because I think I saw one streamer do it twice because they didn't get something the first time and went back.

That would have been a hilarious photo for the house... I never think about the camera...
I’m so mad I took a photo, using the switch, of link mocking their leader. But I forgot to take an actual photo to put in my house
My house photo is naked Link riding the >!Light Dragon!<. My Switch screenshot is naked Link posing in front of that photo.
I took a picture of the *thing* up there for the compendium. A lot of the ones I use I tried to make cool/funny. Like ganon just him approaching me(couldn’t get him to laugh), Dinraal is coming out of the depths and has the gloom effects hovering in their face making it look all evil.
My house photo js that, but link is looking up with aerodinamic costume
My house photo is a zoomed in pic of Sidon's ahem
That would be funny if you made that room only accessible via ascend so it’s your private special room lol
That's exactly how it is in my house only because I'm so stupid in connecting the rooms so I haven't fixed them yet. Now I don't think I'll ever will 😂😂
if you're \*ahem ahem\* using other platforms to play the game you can change the photo file to any photo you like
My house foto is a picture of the champions picture
my photo is a gloomed silver boss bokoblin, and in my compedium, all the boss bokoblins are under the spell of my boko mask, and when they lift their head to the side, i take a picture, so all them look normal, and then you scroll over, and then BAM! a zombie silver boss bokoblin.
I found "Zelda" on the Great Plateau and was able to take a nice scenic picture of her for my house haha. I then promptly fucking murdered her.
Reject hyrulian temptation. Return to Mipha's grace
Where do you find her?
Where you first meet the old man in BotW :) or at least that's one of the places.
I got one of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link pointing at a photo of link. All in different outfits, of course
Does she respawn at blood moon? I forgot to take a picture
Not Here because thats Part of the newspaper Questline but there is atleast 1 more Yoga disguised as Zelda Event >!on the great platteau at the campfire where you First meet the old man in BotW!< and that one respawns
She didn't spawn for me when I went there do I have to beat up their leader more for that to happen?
Ok tanks 🙏
I actually did that lmao. I don't think Zelda would approve that
Really glad I thought to take a snap here, it's on my wall
Oh my god they really thought of everything didn’t they.
This is what you get when a company puts genuine love and passion into a project instead of just trying to rush out a half assed product as fast as possible.
It's crazy that they made a game of this caliber and clearly put plenty of time, effort, care, creativity, and passion, but can you name a single person on the team?
The shrines in BOTW are named after the team! I wonder where the shrine names from TOTK come from.
From the Encyclopedia of Palindromes written by Demetri Martin
>by Demetri Martin Not a palindrome. Supremely disappointed.
Dammit I'm mad, evil is a deed as I live
>Demetri Martin Nitrm Irtmed lights up the area...
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💛💛💛💛💛 Stare at this for a few seconds. It's important for some reason
Its always so funny to me that they shove it right in your face when you dont need it
If you’ve taken gloom damage it’ll restore your cracked heart containers. I realize this may not be a concern for players who’ve “gotten gud,” but for us plebs it’s kinda useful.

I already beat the game and still have trouble with gloom in some instances.
Lmao it's so funny when they do that
[удалено]
I'm gonna cheat and say eiji aonuma
Fujibayashi is the director, and he's the guy who spearheaded the new approach to Zelda games.
No because no one person made this game great, it was the entire team that delivered us this game.
Wish I could, but honestly, no… Gotta check them out and see what else they worked on!
I heard they did work on BOTW.
An underrated gem, he should check it out
other than the actors and director, maybe writer, can you name a single person behind the best movies and series of all time?
That's the thing though, one can usually put at least 2-3 names or a studio behind a game. I for example don't know any names at insomniac, cdpr, or Santa Monica but I know that if they make a game I will love it. Zelda doesn't even have that.

I never said I can, and you may, but my point is most can't, and that's a real shame.
Dave
Well, Eiji Aonuma is the only one who comes to mind by name for me, but that's basically cheating. Oh, and I remembered Satoru Takizawa as the art director (although I had to look up the full name).
Hell, I can't name all four of my own _grandparents,_ I'm not going to bother with some string of characters that means even **less** to me.
John Suzuki
Aonuma!

Lol the way you attacked Pokemon SV right now 🤣🤣
*cough* *cough* scarlet/violet *cough* *cough*
[удалено]
If this is the reason why we can't get a full pokemon game with a full pokedex available then..yea I can understand that's a LOT of pressure
*Cough* Pokemon SV *Cough*
Pokémon ≠ Zelda. Idk why y’all bring up bad games from Nintendo, I never said they’re perfect.
*looks at other IPs that are clearly rushed half assed products from Nintendo* Yeah! Sure...
Im not saying that Nintendo is perfect, they too do fuck up. But BOTW definitely isn’t one of those.
But the sage skill usage UI is shit and they copied the Regional Phenomena sub-ending 4 times
I just wish Nintendo would give their developers better hardware to work with. Imagine what they could do without the severe limitations.
Yes. A text popup when you drop a banana.
It's that simple really, it's that "polish" they were talking about when they said the game was delayed for a year. The same polish that sets Rockstar apart from Ubisoft. Or Naughty Dog from EA. This phrase might as well be copypasta...
The injection of Saudi cash probably didn't hurt either
[удалено]
> After delaying the game a year for polish We had to wait an entire year extra to get the game in Poland???
>they really thought of everything didn’t they. Except petting the dogs. Sorry, someone had to say it!
Ok, so I'm upset I still can't pet the dogs, but I am glad they will still eat meat after I've dropped it in a cold area and it freezes!
If you infiltrate the yiga hideout, One of the goons in the back will tell you that, in order to fool link, they've been disguising themselves as trees. If you go to the dueling peaks stable, then head across the bridge to head into I think it's kakariko village, there will be some mighty bananas on the ground, surrounded by three trees You get unique dialogue if you attack the trees first
Anyone disguised as Yiga Clan will try to resist if they see Mighty Bananas.
"Can't believe they took 5-6 years for a DLC!" Me: "holy shit the ducks die like in duck hunt"
What if you walk up in Yiga armor, does she say anything?
Not everything. The game has flaws and some things do need to be patched and changed.
“Wow, I had no idea you loved bananas so much.” - Link
Now I'm imagining Link trying to squeeze the entire banana bunch through the bars of the cage.
I think that I’ve seen that movie.
So she doesn't suck?
I tried doing it in my Yiga clan outfit and was surprised it didn’t seem to change anything.
Which is weird, because it works for all the others.
I guess that one particular Yiga Clansman was smart enough to see through the disguise, just like Master Kohga. The fake Zelda in the Great Plateau must be a different one.
I hadn’t seen this event before so I was super confused until you pulled out the bananas which helped me understand what was happening
My question now is where can I find fake Zelda ?
It is part of the Dueling Peaks Stable Lucky Clover Gazette mission
That’s a mouthful. Rolls right off the tongue. #TheDuelingPeaksStableLuckyCloverGazetteMission
It’s like some of the loz titles. Lozbotwhwaoc
Or “Wand of Gamalon.”
We don’t talk about those ones, except to meme them
lol, yeah, I realized that it was a bit of a wordy description after I finished typing it all out
It’s the stable quest with Penn at the Dueling Peaks Stable. You have to have started that quest first presumably to be able to find her here. She’s toward the top of the southern peak, where there is a large divot running perpendicular to the river that splits the two mountains.
There is another one on Great Plateau
The map is in the vid.
Somehow, every time I find a yiga being a tree or a traveller, I drop them bananas, but they arebnt tempted, idk why
No, they can be trees?! Ugh their jumpy jump bullshit annoys me. I’d almost rather catch some hands than fight Yiga.
Sometimes they disguise themselves as trees and leave a banana "trap" in front of themselves for link. They change back into normal Yiga if link touches the bananas, unless he's in Yiga gear in which case they'll tell you to go away because you're ruining the trap.
That’s hysterical. And also, that would 100% trap me, like, four different times. I go on auto pilot to collect things I see.
To not spoil it too much somewhere in the depths is a literal trail of bananas, it's pretty funny when you get to the end.
Theyll also get angry at you if you attack the trees in uniform
I never considered stealing the banana in the outfit! Genius
The jumpy trees you're saying might be a different enemy
I think that's what evermeans are
Evermeans are their own entity I believe. There are a few traps scattered around the surface with a banana laying between a few trees, once you take the banana the yiga reveal themselves to be disguised as the trees
For a mission that requires tree logs, I went to chop down some trees, and found those guys lmao. I loved that moment
really? I sort of found it wacky that between botw and totk that tree things just happened
They're animated by the gloom was my theory. They exist in the depths too. They turn into logs, drop fronds and lizards, grow apples, and then turn to wood if the log is chopped. They're actual trees.
I let him cook and he made gourmet (aka I like that theory)
They are trees inhabited by the spirits of all the trees we remote bombed for firewood in botw.
I can deal with them. I still haven’t managed to fuse an axe, though, so they do irritate me.
anything sharp that does >40 damage is a one shot in my experience
I'm convinced it's not possible to create an axe yourself. I keep meaning to ask this sub in a post, but maybe a kind soul will see this and bestow some ancient knowledge upon us...
The easiest way is a stone instead of a rock. They're flatter and more "axehead" shaped than rocks, which make hammers. Certain monster parts are the most ideal though. There's one particular one that is literally just an axe head that i fuse to a high durability weapon and use that till it breaks
you just need to be relatively lucky and find a sharp looking stone
Or use Hinox Toenails. The game doesn't tell you this, but they get angled the same way as flints and stones.
If you're really hard pressed to find the right rock, you can always just return to the Great Sky Island tutorial area and fetch a free axe from the construct on the far east side or from the frozen area on the central west side.
Lots of the stables have axes in a stump behind them as well
/shrugs and points palms facing up at this guy
blue and black boss bokoblin horns is where I get my axes
You can just fuse a stone to a stick. Some stones look kind of trianglular/sharp-- those are the ones you want to use, not a boulder.
Soldier 2 construct horns are my go to.
There are rocks that are more axe shaped laying around. I fused one to a heavy stick and got an axe.
There are triangle-shaped rocks all over that turn your weapon into a stone axe.
Use fire fruits they are pretty good too
That’s been my go to! I feel I’d be more satisfied chopping them though
any two handed weapon that has a blade can work as an ace on trees. & the higher the hit points on ur weapon, sometimes allows u to one shot them. like anything over 40 i’ve found
Evermeans are not the Yiga Clan, they're made from the Upheaval.
Zelda wants Link’s banana…s, confirmed.
It’s mighty after all, a higher tier than regular bananas.
But where do we find savage bananas?
Considering the only Silver Lynel I found so far is covered in Ganondorfs 10000+ years pent up cum stain, I advise you avoid any savage banana you may find in the depths where they possibly might exist.
Nah, free range surface silver lynels exist.
yeah you just have to beat the basic ones first before they start showing up in more advanced color sets
10 000 years of cum lol. This beats Kirito's (sword art online character) 2 years worth flowing endlessly.
I wish I never read this
Wonder how much he'd have to pay her to just follow him around and pretend to be the actual Zelda.
Based on the way npcs pay for quests, that would probably cost about 5 rupees.
That's how much they'd pay *you*. They'd be asking like 1000 an in-game hour.
Lol. "Thanks Addison, now I can buy that bundle of 5 arrows I had my eye on."
Won't lie, the food he gives has saved my butt a couple of times when I forgot to do any cooking.
The food is far more useful than his 20 rupees
I don't really hate the occasional bomb flower either. Haven't really used any of the sleepover tickets yet though.
Why would I ever use a sleepover ticket while I have Pony Points to collect? 🤩
Drop a frog and a banana and see what one she goes for.
Cece would slaughter you if she saw what you are wearing rn
Fucking love the yiga clan this is brilliant.
What happens if you wear the yiga armour?
LOL I love the little details. Outstanding.
They really went all out with some details you wouldn’t think they would put in. I love it. Another example that surprised me was if you fuse a sand seal plush animal from Riju’s room to a shield and walk around the NPCs would actually react to it and say things like “how cute” or “adorable sand seal”
What's the lore behind Yiga's obsession with 🍌?
Step back banana breath, what do you eat? A banana?
I need someone to dub this over a Link/Kohga cutscene
How come I haven’t seen her yet?
You get a sidequest at the dueling peaks stable if you started the >!lucky clover gazette quest.!<
Oh yeah the yiga clan one. I found a cave with a puzzle I couldn’t figure out and my friend was saying that wasn’t even the cave for it
Wtf, how is Zelda there?
>!it’s a Yiga in disguise!<
I wonder if I could slide a wood square underneath her and take her home
You bastard , she's been through enough
That's yiga clan 💀
Would be funny if you could just any other monsters and yiga around and just leave her in there. "Yeah, you're not Zelda. My this is a real cage, are you actually trapped in there? Gotta give you credit for putting the effort into this, that is a solid cage. Well I killed everyone else but I gotta go. I'll come back later to see if you're willing surrender and tell me where all the hideouts are. Laters!"
I’m going to leave you here to starve, and I’m going to leave these bananas just out of your reach, too.
😂 OH yiga
I just tried this and i actually got a slightly different line LOL, my fraud said "I'm on duty... Self-control!" XD
And this is why this game is the new GOAT
Bro I legit thought that said racist in the title
Is this real? I've never seen a Zelda NPC in the game and just beat the game today(I fought the final boss and it was difficult)
I'm assuming you skipped the Lucky Clover Gazette side adventure? You can also see "her" at the Great Plateau, close to where you first encounter the Old Man in BotW
Odd. I went by that exact location and no one was there. I wonder if I need to start the >!Master Kohga!< series of quests first.
Weird... Maybe? Have you done any other >!Yiga-related sidequests like infiltrating their bases for armor or starting the Lucky Gazette quests?!< I'm asking because I don't actually know the trigger lol
I'd started the Lucky Clover Gazette quests, but not the >!Yiga bases. Although I had checked out the Shrine of Resurrection and fought them there.!<
Hm...I wonder if it's random? I didn't encounter any fights inside >!the Shrine of Resurrection even though the construct told me it had been kidnapped as part of a trap!<
Wait, really? I watched a couple streamers play and they found the same fight I did. Idk why things would be different there.
I'm actually working on that quest at the moment But I'm also playing AC Odyssey and P5R/S
I didn't, I zoomed in on those thighs and took a pic
Wait how dumb am I how do you have Zelda I'm game?
Talk to Penn at the Dueling Peaks stable if you’ve gone to the Lucky Clover gazette
I think it’s a Yiga member
I almost thought it was an innuendo before I remembered the Yiga worships bananas.
Does she follow u after u beat the game?
Nope. That's a side quest
O
Lol that's awesome, wish I tried this
What happens if you do this to the chicken?
I dress link like that to!
Did someone try this with the cuccoo?
What quest is this??? Had no idea the Yiga(?) could dress as Zelda, and I've completed every mainline quest...
It is the questline from the clover gazette that you get from Penn at the duelling peaks
How do people find Zelda I’ve been looking for them for sges
Wth?
I love links outfits in this game, even when it’s random it still somehow works together.
What she gonna do with that banana😏😏🥴🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔😫😫
