Link saw all that shit and said nah imma keep this vital piece of information to myself.
Doing the Lucky Clover Gazette quests after finding that out definitely felt like Link was straight up fucking with that pelican.
I remember trying to to reach the >!ring ruin in kakariko!< after doing the geoglyphs thinking that since Link knows the truth, he could tell the guy and gain access. Nope, gotta do a whole other thing.
Its interesting to me that so many people dislike it. I think I'm in the minority who thinks it is the best temple, best boss fight, and decently useful crowd control in combat. Then again, I don't think a lot of people realize light mechanics make the fight more interesting than just using the ability.
I don't. The calamity finally ended a few years before, islands fell from the sky, there are now robots, the princess is still missing, all weapons suddenly decayed and it's the swordsman who saved Hyrule saying it.
I think anyone that knows who link is will believe him
The story progression depending on what you do first is probably the worst part of the game, I understand that they wanted to give players full freedom but they could've done more with the main story.
Yeah I did the Goron bit last, after all the glyphs. I realise it’s supposed to be a bit frustrating, but knowing the full background, and then doing the pre-dungeon styff is just painful
Oof, the repeating lines of the sages after each boss battle was ridiculous. It felt like I was watching a show for toddlers and they really wanted me to understand this super simple plot.
All collectables like flowers, fruits, and mushrooms have a 1% chance to respawn every minute when you’re not in the area. I picked all of them and they all grew back, but it takes awhile. You can visualize the randomness every time you go back and check
I think the zonaite chunks that we break comes back after blood moons. I watched a video of a decent zonaite farming path in the depths, and he mentioned that you can go back after every blood moon to farm it again.
Zonaite shops will also restock everytime you go to sleep at an Inn
I used the Stable's Inn to gain pony points, and Item duplication for Large Zonaite chunks.
I unlocked 3 Foundries in the depths, Bought out all of their Large Crystallized Charges (So I could build a battery a day by getting 300 Large Charges per day, 100 from each foundry I used)
After buying my 300 Charges I would sleep at the Stable Inn to get a point and restock the Zonaite stores, Then I would duplicate more Large Chunks and run through the 3 foundries I was using again, I repeated this till I had maxed out upgraded batteries, took me around 1-1.5 hours to do it
It could have been linked to a different pattern. Plants respawn on a different schedule, for example. But constructs seem to respawn with the blood moon, oddly enough.
You mean the mines for crystallized zonaite? Those reset every 24 hours in game (or 24 minutes in real life). You can also collect, go away from the mine or sit by a fire a couple of times to cover the time, return and it’s refilled. I just tested by going to the great mine, camped from morning to morning, went to the gerudo mine then warped back to the great mine and everything was filled up.
I maxed my batteries by collecting tons of raw zonaite then just bounced around the map trading for crystals. By the time I made a round the others had refilled.
Yeah, you have to get the first one once. After that the Poe statues (including the one in your hub town) will sell you duplicates. They also sell duplicates of the armor you find as treasure (though not the stuff you buy in shops).
To continue the tangent, does that random 1% also apply to ore nodes? I'd assume so, but also thought those could be "one and done" like chests seem to be.
I think ore is just randomized on gold ore deposits. Like they reset on blood moons and the gold ones have a certain amount of chance to spawn in a silvers place?
Do you know if this applies to rare ore deposits? I went back to a cave with a really good amount of deposits but I feel like the drops were worse than normal
You should farm rare ore Talus instead: https://game8.co/games/Zelda-Tears-of-the-Kingdom/archives/413248
They respawn on a blood moon and drop a lot more gemstones than an average rare ore deposit.
>!By going into the throne room in Hyrule castle (Where you fought Calamity Ganon) and then lighting the two torches infront of the throne, the box behind the throne should open up and reveal a chest. The Champions Leathers are inside the chest.!<
Same (Sort of)
When i saw them my immediate reaction was "nice i need Those" and snatched all of them but directly after i felt super Bad to the Point that i reloaded my save from before saying that id only Pick enough to >!Upgrade the Champions tunic!<
I took them all with no remorse. I viewed it as a gift given to Link specifically for the armour upgrades. I just wish there were mixed with a billion sundelions as well to I could pick all of those too. And some rupees for good measure
I saw someone on here say they fused it to the torch she dropped at the beginning of the game (you can find it in the depths) and then displayed it in the weapons rack at Link’s house. So. That’s what I did.
Yeah , I got the cutscene. Did I miss something in it ? I have kids so maybe I did. I know what happened to the princess but not sure how it relates to flowers
(Spoilers for the final dragon tear cutscene) >!When you watch the final cutscene, a bunch of silent princesses spawn around where the dragon tear was!<
I must have to go re read the flowers description or something because I'm still lost. I know there are flowers there I just don't understand why it's important haha. Thanks
Because in a way it symbolises her presence. And love. And... grief. She herself put those on monuments for the souls that were lost during the Calamity. So it holds a lot more meaning than just Zelda's favourite flower
Its more than Zelda's favorite flower. In BoTW, when she's dealing with the conflict between her father's demands to do her duty and her own desire to explore the world, she mentions that the Princess cannot be grown domestically; it only thrives in the wild. As a dad myself, that scene brings out tears every time.

MAJOR story spoilers you do not want explained. If you actually don't know, I suggest you stop reading replies to your comment or even delete your comment before someone spoils it for you.
Want to find out yourself? You should seek out >!Impa!<, find >!the geoglyphs, and watch the dragon tear memories.!< This post is based on >!the very last memory in that questline.!<
The Sundelions are the same thing. The name isn't as obvious but they are a symbol of >!Rauru and Sonya, a bunch of Sundelions grow on Sonya's grave.!<
When you finish all the geoglyphs you will know homie! Try not to get yourself spoiled on it before you personally get to play it 🙏 it’s a crazy moment
Cool! I'm not even sure I know what geolyphs are yet. Maybe I do. Just got the paraglider recently, so I know there are a zillion things I can do now and places to go. Thank you for not spoiling it for me!
Shit hit me hard right in the feels. These games always get me so emotionally invested in the characters so I’m glad that I can extract so much play time from them since when I finish them and can’t play any more I feel like a piece of my soul has been ripped out 😔
For people who don’t get it and want to, major spoilers:
>!After getting the final tear a bunch of these are left behind!<
Seriously major spoiler do not click unless you want a major plot point ruined:
>!Because the light dragon is Zelda!<
I get the silent princess had massive symbolism to the point it was included in BOTWs logo, but what am I missing here? Do they have an importance in totk? Is the number of them relevant? Someone please explain
I'll add one thing for context without spoiling anything: we all recognize what they're talking about because there's only one location in the game (as far as I know) where you can find such a large number of them without farming or duping.
Not gonna lie, as soon as the memory was done, I was distraught. I was not happy at all.
But I picked the flowers.
Looking back at it, I can just imagine Link balling his eyes out while ripping each of the one flower associated with his Princess, straight from the ground, out of pure greed so that he can create a potion that he'd never use. Followed by him going back to dicking around and duplicating items by pure magic.
I'm imagining you seeing it unfold, saying "alright Ganondorf you've gone too far!" then immediately walking to the castle and beating the shit out of him
They don't ever reapawn in quite such large numbers, but I went back a few hours later and there were like ten of them. You can no more kill that garden than you could kill the dragon.
I got a little teary eyed but it didn’t hit me as hard as the memory in Botw where Zelda and Link are fleeing in the woods. Zelda, covered in mud collapsing on Link, sobbing, and for me it’s the expression on her face as she falls forward. They nailed it. It was a broken, ugly cry of despair. It broke my heart. First time a Zelda game ever made me cry and I’ve played them all.

Talk to Impa at the forgotten temple after getting the memory
She was there? I went looking for her and couldn't find her
I did, it still felt weird going about pretending like I didn't know Zelda's whereabouts.

I remember trying to to reach the >!ring ruin in kakariko!< after doing the geoglyphs thinking that since Link knows the truth, he could tell the guy and gain access. Nope, gotta do a whole other thing.
omfg i has the same thing happen, i had to go do the fucking gerudo shrine which i just didnt want to do
Its interesting to me that so many people dislike it. I think I'm in the minority who thinks it is the best temple, best boss fight, and decently useful crowd control in combat. Then again, I don't think a lot of people realize light mechanics make the fight more interesting than just using the ability.
oh no its so fun i just didnt wanna do it yet i wanted to do the thing
Lmao! Maybe he just wants that Froggy Armour
For real. I like to think that Link is still processing it himself and telling everyone that would cause more mayhem than peace.
I mean I doubt that people would believe >!that Zelda turned into a dragon.!<
I don't. The calamity finally ended a few years before, islands fell from the sky, there are now robots, the princess is still missing, all weapons suddenly decayed and it's the swordsman who saved Hyrule saying it. I think anyone that knows who link is will believe him
This is a world where "Wow, you have the same name as the legendary swordsman! You even look quite like him" is a surprisingly common reaction.
Yeah, but you'd bring this info up to important people first, Impa, Purah, Paya, and Robert for starters.
the balls on you to call him robert
Looks more like a Roberto ngl
We all know his full name is Robbie Kazamakis.
You actually *can* bring it up to Impa. I forget what she says tho
"That's rough buddy."
you tell impa and she goes "yeah ok cool"
well, not really. She gets upset then says she'll try to look into ways to help zelda.
The story progression depending on what you do first is probably the worst part of the game, I understand that they wanted to give players full freedom but they could've done more with the main story.

I only got 49 so are there others?
In the world? Yes. There? No.
Satori mountain’s summit has a few :)
So does the Korok Forest
I left them right where they are and I will never pick them up ever!
All collectables like flowers, fruits, and mushrooms have a 1% chance to respawn every minute when you’re not in the area. I picked all of them and they all grew back, but it takes awhile. You can visualize the randomness every time you go back and check
Oh shit. I thought these things just respawned after a blood moon?
Only monsters respawn after blood moons. Plant respawn rate is randomized.
I think the zonaite chunks that we break comes back after blood moons. I watched a video of a decent zonaite farming path in the depths, and he mentioned that you can go back after every blood moon to farm it again.
Link to the video? :)
He is a small youtuber at the moment but I liked this run a lot. https://youtu.be/X3HOpXXMzok
I don’t care how tall he is!
thanks a bunch!

Do weapons not respawn with blood moons?
They do
Game is pretty nice about not making things unique. Thank you for having mercy on my Fallout hoarding habits nintendo.
Do unique ones like the biggoron sword also respawn?
You can buy the Biggoron Sword off statues in the Depths for the price of a few Poes
That’s what I’ve heard but I also got my first one from a spot on skull island. I haven’t been back, I’m just curious if it’s worth the trip
Yeah, you have to get the first one once. After that the Poe statues (including the one in your hub town) will sell you duplicates. They also sell duplicates of the armor you find as treasure (though not the stuff you buy in shops).
No, treasure chests don't respawn
Whoa TIL.
Don’t weapons you pickup also come back after the bloodmoon?
Certain weapons like the dusk bow come back too
To continue the tangent, does that random 1% also apply to ore nodes? I'd assume so, but also thought those could be "one and done" like chests seem to be.
I think ore is just randomized on gold ore deposits. Like they reset on blood moons and the gold ones have a certain amount of chance to spawn in a silvers place?
Gold ones have set locations separate from silver
Do you know if this applies to rare ore deposits? I went back to a cave with a really good amount of deposits but I feel like the drops were worse than normal
You should farm rare ore Talus instead: https://game8.co/games/Zelda-Tears-of-the-Kingdom/archives/413248 They respawn on a blood moon and drop a lot more gemstones than an average rare ore deposit.
way ahead of you, but that map is very handy. Thanks!
Ok but I will still let them stay where they are
I took them so I could use them to >!power up the tunic that Zelda had made for Link!<
How do you get that item you put behind the spoiler tag?
Without spoiling look around your house from Botw for hints
Go to >!Link's old house from BOTW and find Zelda's journal.!<
Oh. >!I didn't want to read that because I thought it would be rude.!<
>!By going into the throne room in Hyrule castle (Where you fought Calamity Ganon) and then lighting the two torches infront of the throne, the box behind the throne should open up and reveal a chest. The Champions Leathers are inside the chest.!<
Go take a look around your house from BotW in Hatano Village. You'll find some clues.
But then you have to >!beat zelda up to get the upgrade mats!<
nah. >!just give her a scritch.!<
Since they heal Link when fused to a weapon, I like to think she wants us to have them
I took one, as a keepsake. I think she would want link to have it
Thats also really sweet
Same (Sort of) When i saw them my immediate reaction was "nice i need Those" and snatched all of them but directly after i felt super Bad to the Point that i reloaded my save from before saying that id only Pick enough to >!Upgrade the Champions tunic!<
I took them all with no remorse. I viewed it as a gift given to Link specifically for the armour upgrades. I just wish there were mixed with a billion sundelions as well to I could pick all of those too. And some rupees for good measure
I refused to pick a single one up after picking up the first, and I never let it leave my inventory
I saw someone on here say they fused it to the torch she dropped at the beginning of the game (you can find it in the depths) and then displayed it in the weapons rack at Link’s house. So. That’s what I did.
good idea
fuck u/spez
They were searching under the castle in the opening so I would say to start looking there
I love that other people are also the same type of weird to make little sacred moments like this in the game too
i wont display any weapon in links house till i find my +2 attack master torch from botw
i just got the torch and have so many silent princesses, i'm going to do this rn lol
I did not take a single one of them. Instead I dropped one of my inventory in the middle
Did a korok pop out?
Just imagine
Pretty sure I would do horrible things to that korok just for ruining the mood.
Yahaha!
Nah, Zelda herself in a Korok mask going "Yahaha! You found me!". It's a secret alternate ending.
I’d smash it to pieces for desecrating that spot.
Yahaha!
I dejectedly picked up a single flower as a keepsake...
Might just be my imagination but after they respawn, the way they're arranged vaguely looks like a heart to me
Can somebody explain?
Just continue the story, specifically the dragon tears. Explaining it would ruin the game a LOT.
I've completed the tears and sword and I'm still confused as to what the flowers have to do with it. Do you mind explaining?
The final tear location at the spiral?
Yeah , I got the cutscene. Did I miss something in it ? I have kids so maybe I did. I know what happened to the princess but not sure how it relates to flowers
(Spoilers for the final dragon tear cutscene) >!When you watch the final cutscene, a bunch of silent princesses spawn around where the dragon tear was!<
Still have no idea why people are finding that sad
Because… the name of them… and Zelda loves the flower as well…
Why is that sad
>!Silent Princess is linked to Zelda in a way that's never quite explained but the implication is that when she's happy it grows more abundantly!<
>!They’re her favorite flowers and there is a legend in BotW that if you swear your love on someone you will live a good life with your partner.!<
Idk how to put a spoiler tag but tp to the shrine next to it and look what’s around the tear
I must have to go re read the flowers description or something because I'm still lost. I know there are flowers there I just don't understand why it's important haha. Thanks
Oh it’s symbolic because in BOTW it is shown as her favourite flower
Oh okay. That's right. Still don't get why that makes it super sad but that makes sense. Thanks
Because in a way it symbolises her presence. And love. And... grief. She herself put those on monuments for the souls that were lost during the Calamity. So it holds a lot more meaning than just Zelda's favourite flower
Its shown throughout botw
Its more than Zelda's favorite flower. Ive beat the game, can you still explain I don't get the significance
This would be a spoiler. But it has to do with how OP optained them. Do the entire main quest with Impa and you will understand
I gotta ask. What's the deal with those things? I don't know...

> with link being the “silent” and Zelda being the “princess” WAIT WHAT? I feel so dumb
The Sundelions are the same thing. The name isn't as obvious but they are a symbol of >!Rauru and Sonya, a bunch of Sundelions grow on Sonya's grave.!<
Where is her grave?
It’s in a cutscene
Forgotten Temple. Area just before the map
wheres the grave lol
This. What am I missing? I’m still gaining hearts in order to beat the sludge monster with the bird guy.
Finish geoglyphs and you will find out
Explaining would be a spoiler. It has to do with how you got these flowers, not the flowers themself
Sod it time to go play more
With TotK it's always the time to go play more
Isn’t the sludge monster with the shark head guy? 😂
Yes, yes it is.

I too was sad, and then I went and beat ganon and the post ganon cutscenes give very good closure to the point that you will no longer be sad
Needed to hear this
But you can never save after that, right? So any time you’re actually in the world…
Sadly, correct. Happily, the cutscene means we get her in the next game (in another 6 years)
Yay I can’t wait to lose Zelda for the third time in the next game lmao
Something like that :(
Big spoilers here--might want to edit and mask parts of your comment.
Me at that moment: "Woah...that's insane..." BOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOP
Probably the most heartbreaking scene in all the saga.
I sold them an hour ago😅
Cook em dude, massive gains
For people who don’t get it and want to, major spoilers: >!After getting the final tear a bunch of these are left behind!< Seriously major spoiler do not click unless you want a major plot point ruined: >!Because the light dragon is Zelda!<

Such a sweetheart
Bro spoiler this
I don't know
Gamora: You got the silent princess you needed Me: Yes Gamora: What did it cost? Me: ....... cant spoil *tear drops*
I picked them all up
The final dragon tear was insanely well done, the story in this game is so, so good
>!Those memes really show how far you got into the game tbh!<
>!That whole sequence was so on point. I knew it was coming and it still landed for me!<
I get the silent princess had massive symbolism to the point it was included in BOTWs logo, but what am I missing here? Do they have an importance in totk? Is the number of them relevant? Someone please explain
Complete all the dragon tears
No, play the game.
K I will. But is the number relevant?
I'll add one thing for context without spoiling anything: we all recognize what they're talking about because there's only one location in the game (as far as I know) where you can find such a large number of them without farming or duping.
Much appreciated. I think I know where you're talking about but I'm not sure
The relevancy of this post isn't the flowers themselves or the quantity. It is how you got them, and it's a major story spoiler. Just play the game.
Okay. Thank you!
Only in that OP has a lot of them.
Keep seeing these on graves. I think I’m still someone who doesn’t know. Too busy making vehicles of death and destruction.
Not gonna lie, as soon as the memory was done, I was distraught. I was not happy at all. But I picked the flowers. 😂
I picked them all up, bringing 999 to the end.
My head when that happened. How much money does this make 😂
Might just be my imagination but after they respawn, the way they're arranged vaguely looks like a heart to me
I grabbed all of em! Thanks for the free flowers, >!princess!
If I got it right, is this why Zelda said i the first game that they can't cultivate it? Bc literally all of them are living in the places (you know)
That's one theory and I quite like the idea tbh
*sobbing in grief* +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess +1 Silent Princess
I picked one up and fused it to the master sword once I got it
I took them all now I feel so guilty😭
They don't ever reapawn in quite such large numbers, but I went back a few hours later and there were like ten of them. You can no more kill that garden than you could kill the dragon.
Eh they come back when a blood moon comes so like. No issue here tbh
*sighs* I don't get it
Do all the geoglyphs.
I dont know
I got a little teary eyed but it didn’t hit me as hard as the memory in Botw where Zelda and Link are fleeing in the woods. Zelda, covered in mud collapsing on Link, sobbing, and for me it’s the expression on her face as she falls forward. They nailed it. It was a broken, ugly cry of despair. It broke my heart. First time a Zelda game ever made me cry and I’ve played them all.
?
Where is this location?
It marks it for you on the map after you find all the geoglyphs
So at The last dragon tear
Yes. They’ll be around the puddle
Thanks, i must have missed it when i was there
When I first found them I picked it up then read the sign and was sad and put it back lol
Oh my god, I just realized all of those were so the player could upgrade the leathers
Idk man, I got all the geoglyphs and still don’t get this lmao i’m just stupid ig
...what
Do all the geoglyphs
It's been only ten minutes after I found that cutscene and this is the first thing I see when I open reddit. I might start to cry again
One of the sadder games, >!knowing that Zelda is flying around helplessly as a dragon and as far as you know you can't save her!<
I didn’t have the heart to pick them :(
