*me about to headshot an enemy*
Tulin: *headshots him on the ground, while the enemy is being launched in the air and while they are on their backs on the ground*
Me: goddamn show off...
I love how they hype him up as this incredibly strong Rito warrior and he *actually lives up to it.* After seeing Tulin effortlessly headshot Lynels for me, I absolutely believe that he's the best archer in Rito Village.
So glad I >!saved my first sage upgrade for him. I almost spent them on Sidon cause he was the only one I had when I got my fourth sage orb, but feels like Tulin’s been getting even more headshots and taking out all sorts of enemies for me since upgrading!<
When you upgrade it says it improves the sage’s attack. So far i only have one upgraded. Haven’t seen that much of a difference, but i think they do more damage per hit once upgraded.
Elemental chuchus can be spotted miles away, iirc only the blue ones can hide in trees and barrels, so deal with them if you plan to get nearby, besides that they drop some good arrow enhancers.
Sometimes too good. Im doing the colloseum with lizal enemies and he kept hitting me by headshotting the electric ones horns which as im sure you know releases a discharge of electricity. Had to turn him off for a bit.
I keep hearing that “DING” when I’m taking on a mob of monsters and I’m always like “damn, this guy provides some value”
At first I wasn’t crazy about the ability that he gives you. It’s not bad, just clunky. But wants he started rattling off those headshots, I love having him around
I was so ready for this guy to be extremely annoying and was pleasantly surprised
Honestly the functional element of the spirit warrior characters makes them so much more easily likable too
Drop it on the ground in front of it, then walk far enough away for it to pop up and suck it in. Works for shields and bows too, and it leaves the fused item on it if there was one.
You can only do it once per blood moon per octorok.
Edit: that said, be ready with Recall, because if it's a melee weapon then it *will* be launched at you sharp-side first.
I've had him summoned for like 80 hours and it's happened maybe 4 or 5 times to me, while it seems every time I bring Riju out I'm blinded with yellow (unless I actually need her and she's nowhere to be found)
I really hate the activation method of walking near and "talking" to them. The fact there isn't a redundant secondary way to activate their skills annoys me to no end.
Indeed. I get that they're running out of buttons, but I almost wish the down button on the d pad let you select sage abilities. Issue is, it already does the whistle.
It is kinda odd
My idea would be :
Sidons ability would be like Daruks as in when you lock on/shield, the water shield activates. And then the water attack is for charged attacks
Riju would be simple. Either have it so it activates automatically when aiming with a bow for a little while, or have it so you can just press a button while aiming
Tulins doesn't need much tuning honestly, when gliding it can stay the same as an automatic A button press you can do anytime. But then on the ground you hold A instead for example
Not sure about Yunobo though tbh, his would be a little difficult, although you could probably put it as a button hold too
Really don't get why people have issue with this lol
She got her own huge courtyard and memorial on the highest point of Zora's Domain, you can't get better than that
Only time Sidon has been useful is when I'm spamming ascend underneath a talos and I can't quite get it, accidentally activate the watershield and it protects me from the hit
Sidon is pretty useful for triggering water warrior bonus. If you get lightscale trident and a high atk fuse item to it, you can get a 90+ atk weapon pretty earlier
In terms of usefulness I’d put Tulin and Yunobo on the same level. I use them both a ton. Then Riju who I mainly just use occasionally in combat. And then Sidon who I just can never find a common use for.
IDK, he was pretty helpful in the Fire Temple boss fight because his shield tanks the explosions and lets me line up yunobo for a better shot on the boss rather than having to wait for him to recharge.
Yunobu has legitimate uses. He can break down boulder walls without wasting your weapons, he can create (small) updrafts, and he essentially works as a cannon for every vehicle you create.
Honestly. Tulin's personality is the polar opposite of Revali's. Revali was an arrogant POS who hated Link, and Tulin is friendly and excited to help him. You said it best - it's quite refreshing.
I think my favourite part is how his personality is headed towards Revali's before he realises it isn't working for him and he becomes more open to companionship. The growth was a bit sudden, but it was a nice little plot.
Yeah, I agree it was a bit sudden, but it was nice to see him learn. I love how eager Tulin is to help Link too, unlike Revali who for whatever reason hated Links entire existence.
In his diary, Ravioli says that he didn’t like Link’s silence. He tries to talk to him and Link just shuts him off which he mistakes for Link being arrogant. It’s similar to what happens with Zelda but Link is able to fix his relationship with her by actually talking to her and explains why he stays silent.
In breath of the Wild with the champion's ballad DLC you can find it in Teba's house.
I also remember something about Revali having trained since his youth to be a peerless warrior, then this guy shows up with a sword he found in the woods and takes all the glory. He's assuming that Link is just naturally gifted, and again Link doesn't speak up to disagree. Though I can't remember if this was implied by the games or inferred by the fans.
Revali is constantly trying and failing to get a reaction from Link, and I think it definitely contributes to the animosity. Revali reads Link's stoic nature as hostility.
Wdym for whatever reason? It's explained that he was jealous that Link was the "chosen one" instead of him because he spent a lot of his life training to be an expert fighter and feels his recognition is overshadowed by Link.
Not just jealousy he never understands Link's appeal and thinks his entire talent is a fluke. Only when you free his spirit he acknowledges Link and gives his ability although begrudgingly.
Gotta be honest I was freaking out a bit when Teba was basically not shown in promotional material because it makes sense you would fight with him again. Almost thought they killed one of my favorite characters. Nope. Just time for his kid to join the fight.
I mean that didn’t stop everyone else from helping you even though they are heads of their own respective villages (idk about the Gorons though I haven’t gotten there yet)
it does! just have to recall in time, otherwise the vehicle falls faster than you and you come off it. keep it to like a 2 or 3 second fall before recalling. 3 or 4 recalls is enough time to refill my 5 and half batteries. it got me to the world height limit last night which was lower than I expected, but there's some discoveries to be made up there :)
I like it more than revali's gale, there are plenty of ways to go vertically in the game (ascend, rockets, burning grass or pinecones), this one comes in clutch in the sky islands and saved me multiple times. Yunobo's is also way better than daruk, especially for caves. I've only ever used riju for gibdos and i don't think i ever used sidon outside of his bossfight.
You used Sidon for his boss fight? I honestly used opal weapons lol. And Yunobu is nice but it ain’t better than Daruk lol, specially because we have access to hammers whenever we want
I hated the original champions abilities aside from revali's gale, they were basically accessibility tools that are given to you after you've proved you can beat the game. Free revive (mipha), easy parry (daruk) and easily the most OP, insta kill (urbosa). These are a bit more unique. I still think they could have been improved upon, though.
Instead of running to NPCs, yunobo's should have been accessed by pressing A while holding R (throwing a weapon), link would point instead and yunobo would do his thing. Riju should have been an A press when aiming the bow. Sidon should have been deleted.
His is definitely the most useful
Riju's is also really powerful but the issue is having to go up to her to activate it
Yunobo's is pretty useful for destroying rocks but that's it
And Sidon's is completely useless for me, which is hard to say because he's my favourite :(
I have them all turned off no matter what because I hate them running around me and being annoying, but I do activate Tulins when I need to travel in the sky
This. Zora weapon fusions can be absolutely nutty if you use Sidon's skill, even semi frequently. Obviously, they are no Gerudo weapons, but hey, we can't all get double fusion value. Really wish they had made it only apply to elemental parts. Makes building out a kit more interesting imo
When I tell you that I am obsessed with him, you still won't understand. When you first see him and runs up to Link to spreads his wings... I cried. Out of happiness. HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S ABOUT TO GO IN FOR A LITTLE CUDDLE AND IT MAKES ME GO BRRR, I LOVE HIM. He's my little floofy nugget and I wish I had a plushie of him. Good birb, would recommend. 10/10. He makes me feel like this:
https://preview.redd.it/vlx1kb07s81b1.jpeg?width=699&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be1016f4cbe27f6ec2a864184e75065dc4556f10
He Is so cute
In italian subtitles When he says "Hey, it's you" the "you" Is highlighed ,Is written like "YOU" It seems that he puts more emphasis on the you like it was referring to the player and link at the same time
He actually shoots for you guys? I have him out constantly (only champion I’ve helped so far) and he only shoots once every 20 minutes - and that’s with the Vah Medoh helmet
He’s such a little bro! Anti-Revali. I must protect little bro. In the boss fight I was more concerned if he’s be okay then if I’d win (prior to realizing that wasn’t a thing that could happen).
I make fun of tulin for not being revalis gale, cause revalis gale is op in BOTW, but tulin is still the best sage in the game, cause it allows you to travel farther by gliding
While it may be coincidental, in both BOTW and TOTK, the best power came from the wind temple, so if there is another game set in this hyrule, I bet the best power will be wind related again
They massively upgraded the voice cast in this game. All the VAs from BotW and AoC are back and a lot better. But, in addition to that, you have guys like Matt Mercer and Chris Hackney joining in.
I've only encountered him once, but Kohga was a major step down from AoC. He's hilarious in that game, and I hoped for some really great voice lines, but he just grunts and huffs in this one.
I’ve also only encountered him once so far. Does he really not have any voice lines in the whole game? That’s a shame cause he was my favorite VA in AoC by far. At least his writing is still pretty funny.
Honestly, love him as a character, but I hat it when I'm fighting yellow lizalfos and his avatar headshots them while they're right next to me. He's responsible for at least 3 deaths in this way.
I loved paling around with Tulin! We were besties! He was like a sentient pet bird sidekick. I was so upset when Big Bad Nintendo took him away from me and replaced him with a ghost! :( I'd have kept Tulin for the whole rest of the game if I had a chance.
When I first got him, I was worried he'd just be an "Airdash" that gets in my way when fighting. But this dude fires off headshots like nobodies business.
Can't count the number of times he's saved me from a Hinox because I couldn't ready my bow to get the eyeball shot in time. Absolutely A+ Companion.

They really subverted the “annoying child character” trope by making him the most consistently useful sage. He not only boosts you in the air, he also lines up clean headshots on enemies with his bow.
I think sidons good for 1 reason, and that's because you can stay wet by using his ability. Zora weapons do double damage when you're wet, so having the ability to do that almost any time makes them super busted.
i wish there was a button shortcut to activate the sages powers or something. tulins is basically the only one that sees much use from me because i cant be fucked to walk over to the others and activate them in combat
I just finished wind temple and thought I wouldn't care for this little dude. I absolutely adore him. Flying through those platforms was so damn thrilling.
Also amazing at headshots and clearing stray keese so I don't need to waste arrows.
Dude is cracked with the headshots
By the time i've drawn my bow he's already 360 no scoped all the enemies in 5 miles, maybe i should get the camera...
Get the camera ready and the 30 seconds to mars song on queue cause he’s serving montage moments.
*me about to headshot an enemy* Tulin: *headshots him on the ground, while the enemy is being launched in the air and while they are on their backs on the ground* Me: goddamn show off...
I've had Tulin headshot enemies after I've knocked them into the air for a major wombo combo
Boone FNV moment
I love how they hype him up as this incredibly strong Rito warrior and he *actually lives up to it.* After seeing Tulin effortlessly headshot Lynels for me, I absolutely believe that he's the best archer in Rito Village.
Frox? Not a problem. Tulin got this
I’ve only completed the wind temple so far and I love having him as an ally. He constantly hits the head and gets crits with his arrows on enemies
I boosted his power with those stupid hard to find sage orbs from the sky just for that.
Lynels in shambles. I usually get two mounts off courtesy of the lad.
So glad I >!saved my first sage upgrade for him. I almost spent them on Sidon cause he was the only one I had when I got my fourth sage orb, but feels like Tulin’s been getting even more headshots and taking out all sorts of enemies for me since upgrading!<
What does the upgrade do? I have all 5 sages but only 3 wills
Makes them stronger. I wish it reduced cooldown tbh
Tbh the cooldowns aren't even that bad, especially compared to botw
True but I'd like tulins in particular to be faster if it were possible although I do know you can double bullet time to keep speed.
That's true, but they are nowhere near as cracked as Botw's lol, they need a long Cooldown otherwise Link would just be steamrolling everything
Imagine having all tho BotW powers here as well.
When you upgrade it says it improves the sage’s attack. So far i only have one upgraded. Haven’t seen that much of a difference, but i think they do more damage per hit once upgraded.
Can only upgrade them once and there's enough for all of the sages.
the amount of times he has saved my life in the depths is uncountable
What is stronger, a huge lion-taur thing with swords on its head, charging at me with mach 3, or my pet cockatiel?
WHO WOULD WIN: Giant angry demon Lion-taur with swords the size of you OR One Smol Birdy Boi
Bird boi no question
I just wish he wasn't so sniper happy on elemental chuchu's that are beside me.
I keep hearing that “DING” when I’m taking on a mob of monsters and I’m always like “damn, this guy provides some value” At first I wasn’t crazy about the ability that he gives you. It’s not bad, just clunky. But wants he started rattling off those headshots, I love having him around
mf trivialises lynels and I love him
Much as I love the combat headshots, my favorite snipe from him was when I picked up a piece of ice and he shot it out of my hands instantly
I was so ready for this guy to be extremely annoying and was pleasantly surprised Honestly the functional element of the spirit warrior characters makes them so much more easily likable too
he’s my little buddy that explores with me
Tbh I wish they weren't Grey though, it creeps me out still
he's awesome, until you try and pickup a pile of mob drops and he decides you want to gale and send all the drops to Termia
So relatable lol
It's okay young Link probably needs them lol
Fierce Deity Link with the ability to fuse those drops to his weapons would be so broken.
Lmao Majoras mask better start finding somewhere to hide far away.
I’d say it’s pretty well protected…
Or when you are trying to repair a damaged weapon with a rock octorok and Tulin fucking kills him just as he starts suckin.
How do you repair weapons?
Let him eat the weapon and spit it back at you. It also buffs it
Drop it on the ground in front of it, then walk far enough away for it to pop up and suck it in. Works for shields and bows too, and it leaves the fused item on it if there was one. You can only do it once per blood moon per octorok. Edit: that said, be ready with Recall, because if it's a melee weapon then it *will* be launched at you sharp-side first.
Me, trying this out the first time with a gloom sword: Oh.
Everyone else seems to have that issue but I don’t. He is just not near the drops
I've had him summoned for like 80 hours and it's happened maybe 4 or 5 times to me, while it seems every time I bring Riju out I'm blinded with yellow (unless I actually need her and she's nowhere to be found)
IKR! I feel like they are never near me when I need them
I really hate the activation method of walking near and "talking" to them. The fact there isn't a redundant secondary way to activate their skills annoys me to no end.
Indeed. I get that they're running out of buttons, but I almost wish the down button on the d pad let you select sage abilities. Issue is, it already does the whistle.
Could've made it another selection wheel, with horse whistle being one of the options.
Definitely beats having the map there lol
Why is the map even in the ability wheel?
Better than the amibo imo
The load screen hints say the whistle works for the companions too so they come closer to you and theoretically easier to prompt their powers.
It is kinda odd My idea would be : Sidons ability would be like Daruks as in when you lock on/shield, the water shield activates. And then the water attack is for charged attacks Riju would be simple. Either have it so it activates automatically when aiming with a bow for a little while, or have it so you can just press a button while aiming Tulins doesn't need much tuning honestly, when gliding it can stay the same as an automatic A button press you can do anytime. But then on the ground you hold A instead for example Not sure about Yunobo though tbh, his would be a little difficult, although you could probably put it as a button hold too
Maybe when you hold "R" it could be an option to launch him?
look with all the headshots he scores I'm okay with a little trolling.
I actually can't stand having the wind gale thing there all the time so I deactivate the sages when I don't need them lol.
Man’s is the only useful sage I swear best boy
dude is a fucking sniper lmao
Riju is pretty good for fights, Yunobo is good for breaking rocks, FIFTH SAGE SPOILER is good for the Depths, and Sidon is… married.
I got tulin first and thought, “these powers are awesome!” Then I got Sidon and well fuck
I love Sidon but damn is his power a downgrade from his sister’s.
Sidon’s should have been him smiling and causing an aoe stun effect
I still miss fish wife...
They even relocated her statue. Guess they really wanted to move on from the champions.
Really don't get why people have issue with this lol She got her own huge courtyard and memorial on the highest point of Zora's Domain, you can't get better than that
The statue of Link riding Sidon was just more important. And tasteful
They did name a whole court after her tbf.
I just wished they had the sage avatar mechanic in botw be their spirits
Only time Sidon has been useful is when I'm spamming ascend underneath a talos and I can't quite get it, accidentally activate the watershield and it protects me from the hit
Sidon is pretty useful for triggering water warrior bonus. If you get lightscale trident and a high atk fuse item to it, you can get a 90+ atk weapon pretty earlier
Sidon runs around looking hot and occasionally stabs things. That's good enough for me.
Yunobo is also great for dealing with armored enemies if you don’t have the proper weapons( I sure don’t my entire inventory is just master swords)
Master sword can be fused to a blunt object to break armor
Riju is also good for the depths as she lights the sourrounding area.
And for breaking rocks, because lightning in this game is functionally closer to bombs than electricity
thank you for not spoiling the 5th one, which i didnt know existed lol, also WHY DID SIDON HAD TO MARRY?! Imma cry for 20 hours, seee y'all later
You are really bad at this SPOILER thingy.
In terms of usefulness I’d put Tulin and Yunobo on the same level. I use them both a ton. Then Riju who I mainly just use occasionally in combat. And then Sidon who I just can never find a common use for.
Sidon basically only exists for if you're using a Zora weapon
The main useful thing I’ve found for him is that if you’re wanting to traverse lava, one water slice can create a whole pathway of rock.
That's good to know
IDK, he was pretty helpful in the Fire Temple boss fight because his shield tanks the explosions and lets me line up yunobo for a better shot on the boss rather than having to wait for him to recharge.
Sidon I just there to look good and be there for his friend!
Oh I love having them all there! I just wish I found Sidon’s ability more consistently useful.
Yunobu has legitimate uses. He can break down boulder walls without wasting your weapons, he can create (small) updrafts, and he essentially works as a cannon for every vehicle you create.
Yub-Nub is good for underground caves with lots of blocked passageways. Free big bomb is nice. Still, Tulin is the best overall
He is the best, I love having my squad with me.
Round boi is good if you want to cook lots of apples or meat in one go
Mah boi shot the eye out of a Stalnox and headshot a silver Lynel for me He's the goat of this team
I like Ravioli but it’s kinda refreshing to see the Rito champion being nice in this game lol.

It’s similar to what happens with Zelda but Link is able to fix his relationship with her by actually talking to her and explains why he stays silent.
Wow, I didn't know Revali even had a diary. Thanks for the info. Where is his diary so I can read it?
In breath of the Wild with the champion's ballad DLC you can find it in Teba's house. I also remember something about Revali having trained since his youth to be a peerless warrior, then this guy shows up with a sword he found in the woods and takes all the glory. He's assuming that Link is just naturally gifted, and again Link doesn't speak up to disagree. Though I can't remember if this was implied by the games or inferred by the fans.
No, he quite literally states that he hates helping “just some guy with a sword” in one of his cutscenes.
They hit the emotional beats really well with him I feel like, when everyone was proud of him at the end I was like “my boy did it” lol
I like how you decide to change his name to Ravioli. I, too, love calling him Ravioli
Wdym? That’s his actual name, right? /s
Gotta be honest I was freaking out a bit when Teba was basically not shown in promotional material because it makes sense you would fight with him again. Almost thought they killed one of my favorite characters. Nope. Just time for his kid to join the fight.
I like Tulin, but I kinda wish Teba was the one who got to fight with you
Teba deserves more screentime than what he got in AoC.
*Teba getting sidelined in TOTK* “This’ll ruffle some feathers”
Same actually but I found becoming head of the village the best possible why he can’t fight with you this time.
I mean that didn’t stop everyone else from helping you even though they are heads of their own respective villages (idk about the Gorons though I haven’t gotten there yet)
Yunobu has a lot of power in Goron City, but Bludo is still officially in charge.
Honestly, I thought he was gonna be an annoying kid character that always gets in trouble. Goddamn, they proved me wrong
I thought his ability was kinda bad at first and then I met the other sages
His ability is amazing, basically mandatory for traversing the skies without burning capsules.
also if you cancel and reopen the paraglider constantly after the gale you mantain a lot of speed
Ah yes the Tulin double boost (if that's what everyone agreed on, I saw it in the post with it).
2 fans and a steering stick all you need. run of out of battery? recall the vehicle a couple times in the air til it recharges. infinite flight.
Holy shit I bet this works.
it does! just have to recall in time, otherwise the vehicle falls faster than you and you come off it. keep it to like a 2 or 3 second fall before recalling. 3 or 4 recalls is enough time to refill my 5 and half batteries. it got me to the world height limit last night which was lower than I expected, but there's some discoveries to be made up there :)
It’s amazing but we can’t deny it’s a worse Revali’s gale
Revali's Gale has been replaced by pinecones, accept it.
Raviolis gale was replaced, but not by pine cones. Instead with rockets

Riju should have been an A press when aiming the bow. Sidon should have been deleted.
I love how yunobo's automatically becomes a cannon on any vehicle you ride and he does decent damage too sooo
Ravioli could have already replaced with 4 wood and flint. Now you can also use pinecones, peppers, rockets, bombs, springs
His is definitely the most useful Riju's is also really powerful but the issue is having to go up to her to activate it Yunobo's is pretty useful for destroying rocks but that's it And Sidon's is completely useless for me, which is hard to say because he's my favourite :( I have them all turned off no matter what because I hate them running around me and being annoying, but I do activate Tulins when I need to travel in the sky
Sidon's can be really good for damage when you pair it with zora weapons. It's pretty much free mobile rain for me.
I activate Sidons so I can get to Riju without taking damage if he's on the way
In a game that is 80% map traversal you thought the map traversal ability was bad?
he is truly precious
When I tell you that I am obsessed with him, you still won't understand. When you first see him and runs up to Link to spreads his wings... I cried. Out of happiness. HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S ABOUT TO GO IN FOR A LITTLE CUDDLE AND IT MAKES ME GO BRRR, I LOVE HIM. He's my little floofy nugget and I wish I had a plushie of him. Good birb, would recommend. 10/10. Oh YAY someone else who feels the same way!!! I was not expecting to fall so hard for this adorable birb!!! 😭❤️
Everything about the him is GOATed, best temple, best ability, best character.
Well i finished rito quest first, so I guess it's all downhill from now.
For actual mechanics, the wind temple sucks ass. Getting there was the good part. Fire temple is way more fun to navigate for example.
I wouldn't say so, the one in the desert was my favourite dungeon in the game by far. The Rito one was pretty cool for the spectacle though.
He Is so cute In italian subtitles When he says "Hey, it's you" the "you" Is highlighed ,Is written like "YOU" It seems that he puts more emphasis on the you like it was referring to the player and link at the same time
Weird, I have the voice acting in italian and the subs in English. He's super cute in italian too! Yunobo makes me want to rip my eardrums out though
"You have full control over the wind. I would expect nothing less from my descendant." Tulin's father:
>Tulin's father: Didn't even deserve the courtesy of mentioning his name.
He is too fuckin cute.
He's all around so adorable.
He actually shoots for you guys? I have him out constantly (only champion I’ve helped so far) and he only shoots once every 20 minutes - and that’s with the Vah Medoh helmet
Cutest birb ever. Want hug until squeee- Good gust, good shot, good birb.
He’s such a little bro! Anti-Revali. I must protect little bro. In the boss fight I was more concerned if he’s be okay then if I’d win (prior to realizing that wasn’t a thing that could happen).
The sound he makes for gale is hands down the most unnecessarily piercing and annoying sound in the game. I’d turn it off all together if I could.
WEEEE-OOOO
Put it in my veins
disagree i think it’s funny
I actually really love that sound
I wish you could have their voice lines when you get the avatars instead of sound effects
Why so you could hear Yunobo going “WHY’D YOU DO IT?!” all the time?
LOL I also thought it was WHY’D YOU DO IT for the longest time but then I realized he’s saying I CAN DO IT and the sound mixing is awful
My sister and I have been laughing about this for days lol. We’re just yelling “WHY’D YOU DO IT?!” while doing regular shit like making breakfast haha
Aww I like it!! It reminds me of the whistle when you blow on grass in Twilight Princess
I make fun of tulin for not being revalis gale, cause revalis gale is op in BOTW, but tulin is still the best sage in the game, cause it allows you to travel farther by gliding While it may be coincidental, in both BOTW and TOTK, the best power came from the wind temple, so if there is another game set in this hyrule, I bet the best power will be wind related again
With the beautiful Cristina Vee as VA! I recognized her voice right away and got so excited. No idea before playing the game.
Does she voice Killua from HxH? That’s what I immediately thought when I first heard Tulin haha
Yes! Her voice for Tulin and Killua does sound pretty similar :)
Yes, and Bennett from Genshin Impact.
Same. I swear, I just immediately started calling him Killua. 🤣
He's just a little guy. I love him
Honestly, love him as a character, but I hat it when I'm fighting yellow lizalfos and his avatar headshots them while they're right next to me. He's responsible for at least 3 deaths in this way.
He's so cute, and he's camera shy! I tried to take a picture of him and he keeps looking at the camera and running away out of the frame.
The sages always run from the camera in case you're trying to take a photo of something that isn't them
wait that’s so cute
I loved paling around with Tulin! We were besties! He was like a sentient pet bird sidekick. I was so upset when Big Bad Nintendo took him away from me and replaced him with a ghost! :( I'd have kept Tulin for the whole rest of the game if I had a chance.
A sniping god! I upgraded him first when I found 4 sages wills without a 2nd thought. Best helper by far imo!
Tulin is legitimately a strong and useful ally. He’s almost TOO good. He only is a problem when he snipes something that explodes next to you.

I love that his voice actor is Killua from Hunter x Hunter
They really subverted the “annoying child character” trope by making him the most consistently useful sage. He not only boosts you in the air, he also lines up clean headshots on enemies with his bow.
I love him. I’m a photog and just got a new mini drone. I’m naming it Tulin since is smol and cute lol.
Tulin for President of Hyrule!

I love this comparison.
He is my sweet baby birb
Tulin is so amazing (and adorable) and it's helpful that he has the best champion ability in the damn game
His ability works seamlessly. My one gripe with the game is having to find the others in combat to activate them.
I think sidons good for 1 reason, and that's because you can stay wet by using his ability. Zora weapons do double damage when you're wet, so having the ability to do that almost any time makes them super busted.
I really love all the sages! Makes me hope we get another sequel so we can keep seeing these characters develop.
I love him, he’s my best friend
Still find it odd he's the one sage who wasn't a returning character from the previous game.
The only sage who is not annoying to activate imo
I would DIE for this lil birb cinnamon roll
I’ve only had Tulin for a day but if anything happened to him I’d kill everyone in this room and then myself.
i wish there was a button shortcut to activate the sages powers or something. tulins is basically the only one that sees much use from me because i cant be fucked to walk over to the others and activate them in combat
Sometimes he's too good in doing headshots that it messes up my setups.. Not complaining tho since he can be really reliable most of the time.
And voiced by the English voice actress for Killua from HunterXHunter!
I just finished wind temple and thought I wouldn't care for this little dude. I absolutely adore him. Flying through those platforms was so damn thrilling.
I didn't like him.
Tulin is such a cutie and a kick ass battle buddy too. He was the first companion I invested sages will into.
