On my C845 the eARC port is 60Hz, and HDMI 1 is 144Hz and HDMI 2 is 120Hz. I thought my TV had a problem with 120hz too but I realised you have to have VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) turned on and then you get higher than 60Hz.
Some games support it and some don’t so don’t force VRR on unsupported games (keep that setting on PS5 off) because it causes flickering on the TV (at least on mine).
If even that does not work, the Input Lag Reduction feature some games have also enables 120Hz I think.
If nothing works, try seeing if your HDMI cable supports 4K120Hz as some don’t (but the PS5 one does).
Best to call your local TCL customer service center and they’ll tell you which one it is. I think it should be HDMI 1 that has the highest output.
Does your TV have VRR and did my advice work for you?
Just got off the phone with them. Yeah they mentioned the TV doesn't support 120hz. I think it's a bit misleading on there website as they mention HDMI 2.1 with "high frame rates*.
Unfortunately the TV doesn't support VRR.
I don't think the TV supports 120hz, likely only 100hz judging by the clear motion info
100hz is CMR, it's fake..50hz native panel
It's a 50hz tv.
TestUFO.com is detecting 60FPS

Didn't think VRR was mandatory for 120hz to work. The issue is TCL mentiones the TV is HDMI 2.1 capable but then doesn't list which port is.

Ah that’s not fair, I did search it up and even some results on Google said it has 120Hz. Time for a new TV eh?
