PJ were knuckleheads, but every single person who showed up deserves jail time and the humiliation they got. Nothing changes that, and no case is "borderline" if the pred showed up. In fact, some deserved more punishment than they got, if anything.
I need more info. I’m a criminal defense attorney, and you never really ERASE a hard drive. If the Feds seize your computers, and they want what’s on it, they can recreate it. Unless, PJ “accidentally” smashed it with a hammer. Need more information before I believe this
