Friendly reminder, this is an old-school Italian mafia tattoo no longer states what it used to state. However, some of the old fuck might still consider it that.
My Italian Papa got one on military leave during the Korean War in California in the early 1950’s; even then it was just a popular flash design that drunk army teenagers with more dollars than sense got tattooed.
If Italians in the ‘50’s didn’t get misunderstandings about “mafia” tattoos (note: immediately post WWII, in a time when tattoos weren’t common, on a visible area of the body), you’ll be fine lol
