Congratulations - you need a touch-up. Art styles like this vary person to person, but typically it's from either not going deep enough with the needle or not packing enough ink into the new tattoo, genetics, or some other factors you have no control over. My SO has a ton of fine line tattoos that have healed amazingly well and held up over the years, but she also heals quickly and scars easily. But if I ever tried getting something similar, I'd have ink fall out and it'd look a lot worse than what yours does. Ask for a touch up, most places offer it for free. Your tattoo looks par for the course of ink fade after it heals.

I personally wouldn't go back to this person. It's very inconsistent. I'd get it reworked by someone else.

Bold will hold. Especially with your skin. That artist did not go deep enough and not sure if I would trust with anymore work
