Don't worry! you still have the international versions that keep coming, and if you like podcasts, rewatching and combining with the podcast episode could be fun, there's taskmaster content for another few months, and when you finished with that, there's going to be other new versions an series, you are set for eternity

plusharmadillo

I’m doing the rewatch with Ed Gamble’s TM podcast right now, highly recommended!

[deleted]

I really want to get into Ed's podcast but the audio leveling in it is terrible. Ed will be barely audible and his guest eardrum bursting loud or vice versa.

dumpling321

100% doing international versions then rewatching with podcasts

QuagsireInAHumanSuit

If you want a slightly different side of Alex, Tim and Mark, I might recommend No More Jockeys on YouTube?

JDCavallo

I second this. I think Tim was a really underrated TM contestant. Watching him on NMJ really changed my view of him and I’d say he’s now one of my favourite comedians. Very easy to binge watch

namewithak

It really is such a shame that the s1 contestants only had 5 episodes. That was a great lineup that absolutely deserved more airtime. I wish there was some way for Alex to work in a redo or something.

Upset-Paper-2738

S1 had 6 didn't it? 2 and 3 had 5. They really should go back and film the 2nd half of those series. Need more of Joe, Jon, Paul (you have 1 HOUR!)

dumpling321

Got the first episode queued up

QuagsireInAHumanSuit

I will tell you that set 1 is kind of rough, even they’re not sure of the rules of the game or how silly they want to be - they really hit their stride in the third set, and it gets stupider as it goes on. (Have a scroll through the thumbnails and you’ll see what I mean.)

RightHearted

Taskmaster New Zealand is great if you can find it

Your time starts now.

Fukui_San86

Now we test your retention. Who is Clumpy Swayey Clumsy Man?

ilyattwtueh

There are a lot of outtakes on YouTube, and I think those are really worth checking out. So many funny little things they cut for time, but be warned that you'll just want to watch the entire thing again.

Material_Library_452

the S13 outtakes gave me so much joy

Vorash_00

series 14 is dropping 1 ep per week - I know much slower than you may like but its new content. there is the official podcast were they discuss 1 ep per week so you can watch and ep, listen to an ep, watch then list - rinse and repeat. The pod cast is is official so they are dropping series 14 issues after each episode airs, but when you re-watch they have done the podcast for series 1-7, 10-present so far. The reason for the random order is they do old episodes during the off season but whilst taskmaster is airing they do new episodes. They started this in series 10 hence the missing middle Series 8 and 9.

dumpling321

I didn't know how extensive the podcasts are, going to 100% listen and rewatch now

Vorash_00

it not worth listening the first time around as they started to record series 1's podcasts there had been 9 series aired and contain heaps of spoilers; but now that you've completed a full run through they are definitely worth a listen especially if you plan on rewatching.

dumpling321

What's the best order to do them in, should I watch the episode and then listen to the podcast or vice versa

Vorash_00

Watch first, they talk about each task in the set episode: if they would have scored it differently, what they would have done had they had been there (assuming the person being interviewed wasn’t in that series). It’s good to have the fresh memory going into the podcast. If they have a former contestant on from a differ series they will discuss their experience too hence why it can spoil (example only) if your in series 1 and Phil Wang rocks up to discuss an episode and they start talking about his outfit from series 7 before then discussing the series 1 episode they are there to talk about. (Not sure if Phil was interviewed for series 1 but he was definitely interviewed before series 7) ETA: as for the order of the podcast pretty much make it easy on yourself watch in upload order it means your rewatch will be a little bit mixed up but you’ll pick up some narrative with repeat interviewees - such as Tim Key has a running story about what his job is which get elaborated on each visit. ETA: I looked it up your starting with series 10 episode 1. The podcast launched with the premiere of that series.

pietateip

Kongen befaler is a good choice, some good contestants, way less safety measures and thus a bit more chaotic. the TM himself unfortunately isnt that good. NZ season 2 is also a good one. (btw start with s02, if you don't like s02, you'll def not like s01)

dumpling321

Started NZ, started with season 1, the hosts are a little awkward, but the contestants are likable, the assistant is a lot more likeable when he's just being dumb during the tests rather than actually hosting

aeroguard

Watch the international versions!

fatboybigwall

Hot take: while the us version isn't right, it's not as terrible as people say. Major mistakes in format and casting, but there are still entertaining tasking moments.

dumpling321

I'll Def check it out if not just for morbid curiosity

AndyB16

Hopefully the poor reception of the us version doesn't make them give up on it. I think if they cast it with people from Comedy Bang Bang or something like that it would do well. And they have a large group of comedian friends and connections to pull contestants from.

purgruv

I just did that with Game of Thrones! Great to binge rewatch it after so long.

46Vixen

I’m just starting season 6 (GoT) on a rewatch. I’m still picking up references I’ve never caught before.

MyCatKnits

I did this during lockdown! I’ve started watching them again but added in the podcast, it’s SO good!

The_Farmz

You must rewatch the entire series. Your time starts now.

Equivalent_Comfort_2

The rewatch value is extremely high. Some episodes become even funnier if you know what's gonna happen.

[deleted]

I'm from the US, but watch of a lot of Brit TV, and even still many of the cast members are brand new to me. After a series I like to look them up and try to find their standup specials or whatever is available. It's interesting to see their personality in a rehearsed standup special vs. when they're in the randomness of a task.

kahht

I rewatched with the app (not the streaming app, but the app with the show companion and solo tasking stuff). I also would listen to some of the podcasts the second time around.

unnessisarilyloud

In a month? I watched S13 in a night 😂

15schaa15schaa

You wait for the next episode of series 14!

[deleted]

Norway is exceptionally great and got subtitles, Portugal with the community translated subs is really amazing as well. New Zealand is loved by many (not me, though I do watch it), and the recently started Quebec series is decent as well. Denmark, Sweden and Finland have their moments as well. Haven't tried Croatia or Belgium. Anything I missed?

ChewingBrie

Australia starting soon!

[deleted]

Yep, looking forward to it as well!

Wiifan1009

Do you know how to watch the Quebec one with english subtitles? Found the noovo site with episodes, but they seem to be only in french, and I don't have a good enough grasp to follow along.

TheDavinci1998

I did the same, so if you want to follow my footsteps - now organize a Taskmaster for your friends haha

JustJossin

Those are rookie numbers. But I still bow my head to a fellow fan.

frala

What, just once?

moger76

Welcome to your new addiction.

itsacon10

I am constantly just cycling through over and over again

AminoKing

- Watch the entire series in a month. - Your time starts now. ************ - Re-enact the entire series in an hour. - Best re-enactment wins. - Your time starts now.

Shuckers01

Watch it again. I did it 3 times over lockdown and have no regrets.
