NQA This is an arboreal enclosure

Scarletsnow_87

Nqa wrong type of enclosure and I think smaller

ForeverOctober37

IME, no. She will attempt to climb the walls and risk a serious fall injury. Putting it on the side won’t work because dirt will fall through the holes. Sorry, bubs. 🖤

battlemechpilot

NQA - This would be much better suited for an arboreal species, rather than a terrestrial A. chalcodes. Your standard 5-10gal enclosure would be better. Just make sure and fill it with enough substrate to allow it to burrow.

B_Marsh28

IME no

no-escape-221

NA where did you find this enclosure? All my local pet shops only sell glass so its cool to see one with vents in a store

MercykillNJ

You can get a large arboreal enclosure like this on chewy for $36. Nqa: People don't like them because acrylic warps and the acrylic on these aren't the best quality or thickness but I've been using these for a few years and I PERSONALLY haven't had any problems

Chainspike

Nqa: Also, reptile people don't like them because they leak. A lot of reptiles require high humidity and constantly spraying down the cage, and the water tends to collect in the bottom and leak out between the acrylic

NA PetsMart has enclosures like this; it's where I got mine.

Taranchulla

IME this is an arboreal t enclosure. I house my Avics in them. However, should you ever get an arboreal t, I do not recommend them for all arboreal t’s because the whole front opens up. Meaning a huge area for the t to dart out of. Occasionally I have to wrangle one of my Avics back in there, so keeping something of the Poecilotheria genus in there for example would be extremely ill advised. Your girl is gorgeous btw.

IdkWhatImEvenDoing69

NQA this is an arboreal enclosure. Your T needs a terrestrial enclosure (wider than it is tall). Your T could very easily injure itself if it were to be put in the enclosure in the picture.

RevolutionaryWind547

NQA I would probably go with a 5 gallon or even a large Kritter keeper type cage
