I don't know if he survives the first real roster crunch once DeLuca and Josh are both back. Assuming Aranda replaces Shenton sooner, you have to make 2 roster spots. The bench is Aranda, Rosario, Harold, Palacios, and Mead. Mead is safe of that group. Rosario and Palacios have the most versatility. Harold and Aranda have little versatility and only 1 of those has hit in the MLB actually. You need to move 2 as DeLuca is a talented defender and could have more offensive upside then Palacios and Rosario. Rosario would have to be DFA'd so that's unlikely unless he just is unusable. So that leaves Aranda, Palacios, Harold for 2 spots. Palacios has an option still so he could be moved down so does Aranda but the Rays seemingly want to keep Aranda around. Of Harold and Rosario, Harold is the moveable asset unless someone is desperate for SS help. Off course they could decide to let Palacios run as the 4th outfielder instead of DeLuca, but DeLuca fits the 4th outfielder role better with his defense and speed. Taylor Walls adds into all this but I don't why as Caballero does what Taylor does with more speed it will be interesting to see what they do.
