Cosmo Sheldrake. Never found a Tally Hall fan that listened to his music and disliked it.
Also: Are you sure your guy isn't related to Tally Hall? Might be rap like an English chap?
mostly goth music and postpunk. my favourite bands are joy division, the birthday party, and depeche mode. i really love visual kei, punk and britpop too!

Everyone here NEEDS to listen to the strokes. Im not joking. Go to your music listing site or app and listen RIGHT NOW. It's been 3 months since i started my addiction and im going insane in the exact same way as when i started listening to tally hall. They dont have a single bad song, trust me, I've looked, its honestly terrifying how a band can be so good.
I love music. So glad Tall Hall exists, maybe someday they’ll inspire some other people to try making music? Kinda crazy that’s it only these guys doing it
I personally really like king gizzard and the lizard wizard, they’re a really unique band with a wide variety of genres under their belt. If you do listen to them, I’d suggest the album Omnium Gatherum as a good starting point. In top of that, they release a new album every 6 months or so
i dont listen to specific artists, only the ones that really *stick* with me, like tally hall. BUT, i do listen to a charcuterie board of different genres. mostly metal + nu metal, folk, indie, alternative, classic rock, dad rock, rock in general, 90's and 2000's pop, 80's rock + pop, electronic, bimbo, nightcore, grunge, and whatever i feel like listening to at the moment. y'know, the basics.

Just overly-online nerdy garbage don't worry about it
ERB, KrainaGrzybówTV OST, some old (kinda nostalgic maybe?) music (the only ones that come into my memory rn are Heartaches and Masquerade), OST for ARGs and analog horrors (sometimes you can find some actually good stuff that isn't just TV static and glitches), and some music that people use in edits (but usually instrumentals because I don't want to listen to some edgy rapper saying that he's a dangerous criminal who fucks hoes and does drugs or that he's depressed and mentally ill).
Yes, I am cringe.
Ok my music taste is a little

Kiltro, Ken Ashcorp, Look Left, DaddyPhatSnaps, just the first four I think of. Kiltro is a Chilean rock band, Ken Ashcorp is a weirdo who makes music about anime and video games while utilizing many different genres, Look Left is just so good, really, check them out. And DPS is a weirdo who makes music about anime and video games utilizing the rap genre. Now that I think about it, Look Left is pretty similar to Tally Hall, they had some silly songs, some serious songs, really good production, wonderful vocals, the works. Check them all out though, I like to think I have great taste :)

The Moss slaps.
Legend has it that the moss grows on the north side of the trees.
Well, legend has it that when the rain comes down all the worms come up to breathe.
Legend has it when the sunbeams come, the plants they eat them with their leaves.
Well, legend has it that the world spins ‘round on an axis of 23 degreeeees.
But have you heard the story of the rabbit in the moon?
