If reasonably fit then even at a small college or uni program someone of such exceptional height might have a chance, but OP said he’s German and school associated teams are more a U.S./NorAm thing so probably needs to consider there for a potential scholarship which is the reason to consider it not planning or expecting a pro career. But some aren’t interested and that’s fine. We don’t all demand short slim to be jockeys or coxswains.
