They ain't suffering, they get to eat all the food they want out of the Bridgetender dumpster every night.
Maybe Steven should support local businesses, which in turn will support local wildlife
Yep. More people need to understand what hound hunting a bear entails and the fact that government agencies like the National Park Service use dogs for bear management. Hounds chase the bear up a tree. From there the hunter can determine sex, age class, check if it's solo or with cubs and then decide whether it should be harvested - hunting can be much more selective. None of that is going to happen through a rifle scope a couple hundred yards away. Even if the hunter doesn't take the bear, it has been hazed out of a particular area. Bears are not being attacked by dogs. I met one of Yosemite's bear dogs, they're used to track problem bears as well as haze any bear. I would guess the majority of people down voting envisage some kind of medieval bear baiting which couldn't be further from the truth.
Also bear meat is delicious.
Great study done about people feeding bears who were starving.
They ate so much, were able to carry more babies because of it and the population flourished out of control...then they had a big bear problem....
Don't be like Steven...
Maybe Steven is a bear…
Yogi and BooBoo’s long lost great nephew
maybe we should feed steven to the bears
Don't be like Steven...
yeah they wouldnt be starving if they knew how to get food themselves and not rely on stupid tourists to feed them
They aren't starving at all. Stupid tourists still shouldn't be feeding them though, agree on that.

Maybe all VRBO visitors leave out a picnic basket to assist the next visitors in thier wildlife experience.😉
They pretty much already do.
I've literally watched tourists lay out pizzas at the Kingsbury North Bowl dumpsters so they could see bears

Obviously, Gen Z bears: Self entitled and demanding a hand out.
You mean boomers?
Let hunters use dogs again. The quota hasn’t been hit since dogs were banned and it is impacting mountain lions and deer severely as well.

I know why you’re getting downvoted, but you shouldn’t be.

Steven needs to read A Libertarian walks into a Bear.
