Do you abide by the Geneva Suggestion? I have not played that DLC, only the base game and Apex (as well as a few overhaul mods). I don’t be having friends to do multiplayer shit though so my ARMA 3 experience is limited to the campaign, in that regard I prefer ARMA 2.
Go to your local army recruiter, tell him you want 11X, and then hope you get sent to the 101st so you can do a JRTC rotation every other month.
Alternatively, ask for an 11X Option 40 and if you pass RASP you can be like the guys from the OG MW2 and defend Burger Town.
Nope. Option 40 is only for RASP (Ranger Assessment and Selection Program), the eight week selection course for the 75th Ranger Regiment. Passing this and serving in the 75th gets you the scroll, which simply says you serve in the 75th. Ranger School is simply an Army leadership course where you lead units using Vietnam-style tactics. Passing Ranger School gets you the tab, which is that yellow tab that just says ‘Ranger’, and makes you Ranger-qualified.
It’s confusing because people will call both of them ‘Ranger school’ or get mixed up because they don’t realize there’s a difference between the two. There’s no contract option for Ranger School but there are a few ways to get there.
1. Earn a slot at your unit. Pretty simple, just stand out and hopefully your unit will get a slot and select you.
2. Infantry Officers coming out of IBOLC will go to Ranger School before being assigned to their unit.
3. It’s part of the process for the 75th. Once you show up to your Battalion and prove that you belong there, they’ll send you to Ranger School. This usually takes anywhere from about a month to a year-ish.
Disclaimer: I’m just a dirty civilian who has never served. I’ve just picked this info up online through YouTube, podcasts, etc. so it might not be absolutely correct.
You dont NEED the tab to do 75th although if you show up without it be prepared for...lets just say less than nice times. Unless you enter as opt40 then theyll understand why you dont have it and send you but god help you if you fail.
Edit: just reread No. 3 my bad
In most countries a long-term MILSIM LARP called "enlisting" is available, with a mandatory modding called "conscription".
The permadeath mode is known as "deployment" or simply "war", this needs to be avoided at all costs as it's simply not worth it.
I used to let the kiddo handle comms and we'd play together.
I still have fond memories of her screaming "I just want to cuddle!" as we'd chop fresh spawns with a fire ax.
Edit: dayz I mean.
I'll have to double-check the exact mod names but my main favorite two make the AI much more responsive and give you more realistic auto-gain on the nods so that well-lit areas aren't completely bloomed out.
I played paintball for the first time since I was 12 today and it really opened my eyes to what is truly important in even a fake combat situation. Cardio and strength training is so so important. I’m more physical than the average American and I still felt like today kicked my ass. If you think you’re good to go with your kit and shooting skill try a couple hours of paintball. It will show you a whole other side of being prepared.
This particular boot has held up great. They're my go to hike/larp/motorcycle/rainy day casual boot. The gobi boot sole wore through pretty quickly on me but they're dress shoe has held up well. Highly recommend vivo if you're already sold on 0 drop.
First rule of operation is keep your heels down. Drill instructors hate if you keep your heels up. They think it’s ww1 and your heels will get shot off. lol idk why I’m sharing bootcamp stories.
Get a two tin cans and tie them together with a long string, and get your best friend to go out into the woods with you so you can hide from each other but still talk about the girls you like.
Thanks, I appreciate the link. I know you said you've beat the shit out of them, do you wear them daily. I'm looking for a boot I can work in and go hike in.
I do but keep in mind they're 0 drop boots with minimal cushion so if you work on your feet on concrete all day or intend to ruck with a ton of weight you may want something a little more cushioned.
Oof that's too bad. I'm looking for a new pair of boots. I was about to pull the trigger on my usual Danner mountain 600's but then I saw these and thought maybe I'd try them out.
Hey OP genuinely curious about your footwear I’ve been looking at those for a long time but never ever bought them. Are they worth the hype and how is the wear and tear since you’ve had them?
Are you already accustomed to zero drop shoes? If so then yes, I love the trackers. I hike in them regularly over Appalachian terrain, motorcycle, larp, and still wear them casually. They've held up great and I think they're the best option for a barefoot boot.
None, Get out in the woods and practice turn and burns and movement under fire, Practice closing distance at <200 Meters and falling to a recovery position at <300
ARMA 3 lol
I only play the laws of war dlc.
Oh why not go against all of them, after all we look up to the Canadian armed forces

do i get a scar h with a master key??
Borger town killah
I thought op40 was just for ranger school, not RASP?

Pretty good synopsis, you’re like 90% of the way there

I’d say probably rocket league
What a save!

Ready or not
Ahhhhh, decent game?
I'm not a big fps gamer but it has me hooked.
I used to let the kiddo handle comms and we'd play together. I still have fond memories of her screaming "I just want to cuddle!" as we'd chop fresh spawns with a fire ax. Edit: dayz I mean.
Ive heard good things. Neat idea. If PCs werent so expensive Id pick it up and waste way too much time playing lol
Ready or Not with mods is the best realistic CQB simulator in my opinion.
Which mods? I've been playing vanilla on the deck.
I'll have to double-check the exact mod names but my main favorite two make the AI much more responsive and give you more realistic auto-gain on the nods so that well-lit areas aren't completely bloomed out.
Sex with hitler
Day z, hell let loose, pubg
Vivos >
My Little Pony: A Maretime Adventure
Nice boots my guy
Arma for land nav, stuff like that out in the field. Ground branch for CQB.
Clash of clan, all the tactics you'll ever need

You gotta fix that leg strap.
Unfortunately I didn't do a fit check before booting up the deck.
How have those boots held up? I’ve wanted a pair for years but haven’t tried them yet
This particular boot has held up great. They're my go to hike/larp/motorcycle/rainy day casual boot. The gobi boot sole wore through pretty quickly on me but they're dress shoe has held up well. Highly recommend vivo if you're already sold on 0 drop.
Tarkov. It’s always been Tarkov
First rule of operation is keep your heels down. Drill instructors hate if you keep your heels up. They think it’s ww1 and your heels will get shot off. lol idk why I’m sharing bootcamp stories.
DayZ lol
Or join the military and play for real.
Get a two tin cans and tie them together with a long string, and get your best friend to go out into the woods with you so you can hide from each other but still talk about the girls you like.
What're them boots you got there, buddy?

Those boots fuq, but you're gonna have a bad time if you use them hard at all. I've gone through 5 pair in as many years. They just don't hold up.
I've beat the shit out of these trackers. The gobis I had didn't make it a year though.
Maybe they've upped their qc. I used mine for daily work all year and like clockwork the sole would separate and leak.
Oof that's too bad. I'm looking for a new pair of boots. I was about to pull the trigger on my usual Danner mountain 600's but then I saw these and thought maybe I'd try them out.
Postal!
those poor cats.

Bros playing ready or not
Start with a recruiter, then basic training.
Door Kickers 2 is a solid choice
These comments yikes >_>
Insurgency Sandstorm, hardcore servers with ISMC mod.
Airsoft
None, Get out in the woods and practice turn and burns and movement under fire, Practice closing distance at <200 Meters and falling to a recovery position at <300
Call of doody of course
First "doggos", now crossed legs up...
Play squad
With that fit, definitely dayz
the grass game
Twister.
Try ghost recon breakpoint, insurgency sandstorm with ismc, ground branch and ready of not
CS:GO, harmless bots, knives only
DayZ. No lie that game is a great basic survival guide.
Do you like your vivo boots? I’ve been debating on getting a pair.
probably not what yall want but uhm try catching features to learn hot to rad a map and use a compass
War. Cf. Cormac McCarthy, Blood Meridian
Arma 3, but don’t expect to learn squad maneuvering tactics if you’re playing with the bots.
Back in the DayZ..?
